I bought the queen size frame and have had this frame now since early June (it is mid-August by the time I'm writing this review) So far, the mattress does not slide on it but the entire frame will slide a little while we do certain activities on it. Nothing too major, it mostly bunches up the rug under it, but the feet are a couple inches wide and about 4 inches long, so the rectangular shape makes me feel a lot more secure putting it on the hardwood floor, but we prefer to have a rug under the bed. The instructions were simple enough to follow, but it's not the most clear which side is for the head(super plus that you can attach a headboard to it!) The entire frame is metal and very sturdy. There are adhesives on every couple slats to prevent the mattress from sliding which is great, but make sure you line up the mattress to your liking before putting any weight on it. You definitely need two people to adjust it once it hits the adhesive. At first it didn't make any noise at all, but after a couple months of use, when initially sitting on the bed, it makes a tiny bit of noise, but not anywhere near enough to be annoying. Our mattress is about 6 years old and was sinking in the middle with our old box spring (another plus you do not need a box spring with this frame), but after we put it on the frame, it almost feels like a brand new mattress. With how high the frame sits, it makes it very easily accessible for extra storage and cleaning up any trash that falls under it. The edge of the foot of the bed poke out a tiny bit even with a queen mattress on it, but it's not sharp, so no issues of bumping into it and even then, you could always get a skirt lining for it (cuz a regular skirt would cover the adhesive. Overall, I give this frame a 5/5 so far as it was so simple to put together and does exactly what I wanted it to do (no noise, etc) And for those worried about weight, between my partner and I, we weigh around 550-600 pounds together and even during certain activities, the bed makes no noise or very little depending on what we're doing. I hope you can enjoy the frame as much as we do :) **UPDATE** It is now September 2021 and I bought this in May of 2020. It's still 5/5 for me and my partner! The frame does make a little bit of noise if I'm climbing into it now and just a tiny bit during certain activities, and sometimes a little more depending on the activity. However, it is still very quiet while adjusting if you're sleeping and the like. My partner can be a light sleeper sometimes so once in a while it'll wake him up when I come home from work, but not often enough that it's really a problem. Continues to be sturdy and I'll the slats are still how they're supposed to be. Definitely recommend for the heavy person or couple, in my opinion. **UPDATE** November 2022 and its still going strong! Still very little noise and quiet throughout the night! Holding up fantastically and the adhesive is still strong! Highly recommended! This is the last update I will make. I hope you all enjoy this frame as much as my partner and I have :)

This arrived in one big box, and it was extremely heavy (50+ pounds?). My husband opened the box out on the front porch where UPS put it. He brought it into the house piece by piece. Once in the bedroom, we separated all the pieces into like-with-like. All pieces were present and accounted for. Excellent quality control here. The directions leave a bit to be desired, which resulted in us assembling it incorrectly at first. We had to unscrew the bolts and start all over, a 20-minute delay. But once we figured it out on our own (no thanks to the stupid illustrations with very little direction), it went together rather quickly. The steel is very thick and heavy, and the broad beams supporting the bed snap down into position perfectly. This was very handy, and a clever design. You can use the sticky tape on the top of the beams if you want to secure your mattress to the bedframe, but since we like to turn our expensive mattress every three months, we opted not to do this. Our Avocado Green mattress is very heavy and really doesn't move much on the bedframe, so we were glad it wasn't shifting all over the place. If it does move a little, we just push it back into place. Not a big deal. All in all, a very sturdy, pretty white bedframe that will probably last for years. We are happy with our purchase and can recommend it (unless you insist on common sense assembly instructions, in which case, you will be disappointed). Five stars for durability and quality (four stars if you count the stupid directions).

Excellent frame! My wife and I took about 30 minutes to put this together and cut down/throw away all the cardboard boxes, plastic wrap, and foam at approx 2 am in the morning. We were tired after a long day and this is what we did last. This frame is not made cheap. It is far more sturdy then I expected. I'm a 250 lb man and my wife is about 150 lbs and this frame can hold our bed and us with ease. We ordered the queen size because our previous King was more bed than we needed. The key to successfully putting this together is to not tighten down any screw until the end. Hand tighten them all to about 1/8" from touching their heads on the metal rail. You will need to push and pull a bit to get some of the final holes lined up but as long as one of you has some muscle it shouldn't be too difficult. My wife isn't mechanically inclined but I am very mechanical. We had a breeze putting this together. Btw, check the velcro before assembling the pieces so that none of it falls off during assembly. We had a few pieces of velcro on the side rails that was still VERY tacky but was loose. We just lined up the velcro on its rail and pressed it down hard and ran our fingers up and down the rail a few times to make sure the velcro was tight to the rail this time. Fixed the velcro very easy. The hardware and tools that come with this frame are very few. I was surprised at how easy it was all to put together. The entire assembly comes with 15 bolts and 2 wing nuts and 2 matching Allen wrenches. By the time you get the outer assembly together, half the hardware is gone because each inside corner takes 2 of the bolts. Every rail was made very well. There was some light scratches here and there and I could see a little bare metal on the outside corners but it's a black frame that will never be seen once the outer wooden frame (found, built and/or sold separately) is placed around the frame anyhow. Also, note that the metal slats have plastic end caps that may need to be pushed in a little to be tight. If a cap is sticking out a little bit then the slat won't fit into the frame. I used my palm to tap them down tight and then the slats fit snuggly. Position your slats centered or the gap on each end won't be even and that will also change the load of the weight on the slats. Truly though this frame is so well built that an inch here or there is very unlikely to make a difference. Included are our pictures because we wanted to help others make an informed decision. The single issue we have with this frame is that there is no recess on the edges of the frame for your box spring or mattress to sit inside so the mattress or boxspring could slide around a bit. We knew this going into this purchase and we already knew we were going to build a wooden frame (with drawers built into the bottom under the frame) on the outside of this frame that would provide that lip we wanted. The wooden frame will look sharp and provides under frame storage. Just ordered a headboard for this and it will be delivered in about a week. I'll try to get back to this review and update pics.
