I like to wear these while I'm at work and after a few weeks I've seen noticeable differences in how toned I am and how much control I have over where my hands are (no clue if that made sense.) I will say though, 2 pounds really isn't a lot of weight. I really wish I could get versions that are 5 pounds and up that still concentrate the weight around my hands instead of my wrists. ... show more

I use these a lot when I am working out on the tredmil and punching the sky ! I like that they have two velcro areas on the pulse area and around the wrist it makes it feel more secure. I also use velcro weights for Restlessness limbs at night and ahhh. Wonderful sleeping with these on. My only negative part is I wish the fingers area was a little less cuffed because as someone with medium length fingers they get kind of uncomfortable and feel not very snug on my hand. I bought these for some slight resistance while running on the treadmill. Couldn’t be happier. It gives me something to do during that 45 minutes and I definitely felt it the next day. Quality is high. And they’re not bother some at all.

Helps with increasing punching power I think. It's made my arms stronger but I'm not sure if my punching power is better. Regardless its a good workout for shadowboxing.

I decided to buy this for myself because I wanted weighed gloves for MMA practice or shadow boxing. Upon buying them and actually using them, I was clearly surprised at how efficient they are. For the money spent, the quality of the gloves are brilliant. As they're filled with small beads of sand, as the size is a one-size-fits-all sort. But if your hands are small, or you're a child then it might not fit properly. Striking motions and speed, the glove remains on the hand. I'm a fighter with experience, so I was able to use motions and speed. The gloves still remained in place, something like this would eventually show signs of wear and tear.
