It feels just right. This sectional couch was super easy to assemble. It also looks great and I think it's very comfortable.I can lay down and sit in multiple positions very comfortably. You can lay right across the top and stretch out with no wood planks in your hip or rib. Also, for reference, I'm 5'5" and I can fully lay across it and only take up 3 cushions. Also, I'm 190 lbs and this thing feels plenty able to support my weight. It arrived in 3 boxes over three days--so those of you saying you didn't receive the whole thing...you just need to wait a couple days, no big deal. Assembly was very easy. The instructions were very straight forward and no items were missing. The cushions def need a day to fluff up but they are pretty decent comfort wise. Firm enough that you don’t sink in to where you can’t get out but soft enough to get comfy.
