But one month of daily riding has proven otherwise: the frame is rock solid with no cracks or flex even after jumping with my son (135 lbs) and me (235 lbs); the motor stays quiet and smooth with over 100 miles and still buttery power delivery; the battery life is real—I get 48–50 miles per charge (listed up to 53) and my son gets closer to 53, with none of that "cut in half" nonsense; everything came in the box with no missing parts or shipping damage, and the assembly instructions actually made sense; customer service answered my email on a Sunday within three hours with a helpful video solution. My 14 year old son has been begging for a dirt bike for a year, but I didn't want to deal with gas, oil, and the crazy noise. This electric one is the perfect compromise. I have owned many electric bicycles and gas motorcycles but have been seeing a lot of people riding these electric dirt bikes. So of course I have been wanting to try one. All I can say is the thing rips and is a blast to ride around town. This is NOT a toy. It is a mini motorcycle. Top speed according to my GPS was 38 mph. I think that is pretty good. Lighter riders might be able to get the full advertised 40 mph. Based on the geometry of the bike and the small knobby tires I don't think you really want to go faster than that. Assembly was not difficult. If you have never put one of these together just take your time. Watch all the online videos and be careful of the bike's weight. It is deceiving because it is so small. The only negatives that I could point out is that the display is a little small and I would have liked a rear reflector or light. I recommend the Megawheels D2. If you are big or tall I would opt for the D2 Pro model. Otherwise it is a great little bike. So far it seems to be high quality and very durable. I'm always a bit skeptical about electric dirt bikes in this price range, but this thing genuinely surprised me. The frame feels super sturdy, definitely high-carbon steel as advertised. Took it out to some local dirt trails behind our property after a light rainy day. The aggressive tires grabbed the mud perfectly, and we even splashed through a few shallow puddles—IPX6 waterproof rating seems to hold up great.     • Cable Lock with Holder - that's what it is, that's what it does
Update: This lock may be a small deterrent, but is not much. My bike was stolen while using this lock, in front of a hospital with lots of traffic, during the day. So… buyer beware. This will stop a theft of opportunity (better than no lock at all), but seems easy to steal with cable cutters. This cable lock offers a slim, scooter-specific design that also works well for bikes. While no lock can stop a truly determined thief—Kryptonite included—even a minor deterrent like this can be enough in most cases. It's lightweight, not bulky, and mounts easily to the frame with the included holder. The 4-digit combination system is straightforward. It comes preset with a common code and changing it is simple: just twist the dial 90 degrees and set your new number. One feature is that you don’t need to hold the adjuster while selecting the new combo, which makes the process smoother and more intuitive. I bought this mainly for weekend fun and light trail riding behind my property. Didn't expect much at this price, but honestly, I'm impressed. The power delivery is smooth and instant – climbs steep, rooty hills without drama. 40mph is plenty for me; I'm not racing MX tracks. What I love most is how quiet it is. No angry neighbors, no gas mixing, almost no maintenance. It's not perfect. The seat is a bit firm for long rides, and if you're over 6ft, you might feel slightly cramped. Range is fine for 5 hours of real trail work. For casual off-roading or ripping around the yard? Hard to beat. This lock fits my bike seat post and is out of the way. I usually leave the holder and only grab the lock when I make a quick coffee run (pre-ordered ahead of time). Personally, I would not leave my bike unattended with this lock for more than 5 minutes, and that can just be the New Yorker in me, who doesn't trust anyone, anything, or anywhere. It is not the thickest cable, and the plastic combo lock seems to be its weakest point. But for those looking for something convenient and quick in and out store runs, this is not bad.
