The juicer certainly does what it’s designed to do and the motor seems reasonably reliable. I would recommend it as a low-cost option for anyone looking to try juicing at any frequency less than daily. If you anticipating using the machine one or more times each day, cleaning the metal straining component that often will be an unpleasant experience. In terms of design, there are a couple of small changes that would improve general functionally by allowing you to store all of components without taking up such a large footprint on the countertop. Two things that seem like no-brainers: (1) add a holder on the side of the machine for conveniently storing the cleaning brush and (2) slightly shrink the cup that collects food waste so that you can store the collection cup and waste cup nested inside each other on the machine’s flat surface under the dispenser. ... show more

Pros: The juicer does filter out the pulp, so it's doing its job. The price is great and I got it delivered in 2 days. Cons: The only reason for giving it a 4 and not a 5 is that the box claims it's a quiet operation and it's not. When you turn it on and when you turn it off, the motor is temporarily loud. Also, it shows in pictures an entire apple fitting into the chamber. Do NOT put an entire apple (or any large fruit for that matter) into the chamber. It will get stuck and the plunger is made of plastic. If you push too hard to try to dislodge the fruit, there is a plastic piece on the lower part of the plunger that will break (which happened to me - I returned that unit and purchased a new one). I'm not saying the plastic plunger is delicate - it's not. It's a hard plastic, but it is plastic. Use it with care and it works great. Also, as others have said, there are a lot of parts that need to be cleaned, but so does my food processor. It's a great juicer for the price. The cleaning of parts is a given. Make sure you clean the strainer/filter and use the brush on it right away so the food doesn't dry on it. Much harder to clean when the food on the strainer is dried out. ... show more
