What a fun build! So its not the name everyone thinks of when you think of building blocks. Its Every bit as quality though! Took about 4 hours to put together. It was a good time. This greatly exceeded expectations. My kids have put together "NOT LEGO" items before. It's usually poor directions and the blocks are not quality. This is a good product. It's solid and you can hold the staff in the middle and it will not break. However, I am nervous every time me or my kids do that, but it's held together. Also, the size is a lot bigger than I thought it would be. It's not quite adult scale, but real size for my kids. I think we're going to make a wooden base to display it on. It has a good bit of pressure when resting flat. I think a base that would support just beneath the "neck" would work well. ... show more

So just buy it without telling her and deal with the consequences like a man. But you’re not a man, are you? You’re just an older version of that kid who used to watch Masters of the Universe. The only difference is now you spend most of your waking hours at a job you hate. The weekends are wasted watching your kids suck at soccer. You’re in debt up to your eyeballs. Can you really justify spending $65 on this? Can you really justify not spending it on a small slice of happiness that will look great in whatever dark, dank corner of the house you’re allowed to call your man cave? This is an adult build. Don’t let your kids help you. Tell them to go help their mom with something. Don’t drink too heavily until after you’ve completed it or you’ll have to re-do a bunch. The final product is great. It’s made out of bricks, though, so don’t expect to wield it like a real weapon. Not for Larpers! It won’t protect you from much. Except maybe sex. You won’t be having that for a while once she finds out you bought this. ... show more

This was a fun build with lots of detail. It is semi difficult, which is a plus in my book. Plenty of pieces to keep you busy for a while. Very sturdy once completed. Great for any fan of the genre.

I printed out the top review to frame it next to. The review says ,"it won't protect you from much, except maybe sex. You won't be having that.....once she finds out you bought this." Truer words never haver been spoken. Fun build.

The build took awhile, but wasn't too bad. Instructions were adequate. Awesome display piece and just a really cool set for any Masters of the Universe fans.

If your a motu fan this is an absolute must have. I thought it was a bit pricey? But once I assembled it in was blown away. U feel powerful holding it. I'm 52 n I'm a skeletor addict. The detail is spectacular. It's heavy it's mostly solid but a few parts could use glue. It's bigger than I thought it was see pic. Wen I opened the bags I thought they were wrong cause they weren't all purple? But as u can see it finishes that color. If the price ever lags I'll get another one for a full length staff. But it's still pretty good size. I can only see this skyrocketing in price however. Cause it's that great! ... show more
