The media could not be loaded. The set is magnificent, the wasp and the turret are gorgeous in all ways. But the other builds inside it is in my opinion are NOT WORTH THE TIME. Thing is the instructions don’t even have INSTRUCTIONS to make the other builds. But overall there great. Now onto the characters and guns. The plasma grenades are sooo cool to have. The guns are to…but the attachments that go on them.. THEY ARE SO SMALL. I do recommend quickly looking for them when you get it and immediately put them on the guns. Now the characters are fab but here’s the 2 things that got me frustrated. First of all the grunts head is extremely stiff and can barely turn. Now me being an stop motion artist this can be hard for stop motion. Last thing, the pegs on the gauntlet for the hunter are hard to put on. To some it all up I think this set is very cool and fabulous, it just has a few ups and downs. But overall it’s worth the money!😁 ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This set is pretty solid but repetitive at the end with the wasps wings, i love the grunts as well as the banished Hunter. The spinning motors on the wings is amazing. I have heard the turret plastic ring piece was very fragile so do take your time or help your child with it and read the directions. 7.5/10 set. ... show more

The figures are your standard fare, paint jobs are unique, the chief has battle damage that hasn't been shown on previous figures. The hunter is my main reason for buying this set. The wasp build is pretty fun. I'd say an hour for an experienced adult and everything is built. Some of the wasp components are details and as such will come off easily but that's typical for mega. It's also a bit smaller than I expected but the canopy is the same from the previous wasp set. Far as I can tell. The shade turret is interesting. The ring framework is a flexible laminate. Not really liking that but it works. You can also build it to have shielding or not. The shield pieces are really cool. Very detailed. So for $40 (not $65 or $100) as of September 2021 this is a fair deal. Based on past prices here's my personal opinion on value breakdown: -marine and grunt $3/ea =$6 -highly detailed chief and hunter $5 ea =$10-$15 considering this hunter is ONLY in this set -shade turret $5 -wasp =$15-$19 it's kinda small -spare parts =$2-$3 If you see anyone selling higher than $40 before January 2022 I'd hold my money. I bought this set primarily for the Master Chief minifig, and I'm not disappointed. The builds are good, but the brick quality is not great. I can already tell that some of the bricks are a bit fragile. The UNSC marine doesn't want to stay together, with arms and legs basically just popping off if looked at the wrong way. The Covenant figs are a bit better stability. Overall though, a good set. ... show more

The red stuff to make the shade turret can break off easily, so be gentle with that And I feel like wasp should have some more detail to it. Because it feels a bland.
