  • Massive Upgrade over M6 pros
Color: Black Size: MX3 PRO
I have been using M6 pros as my daily drivers for well over 3 years. My current M6s have well over 300 hours of use on them, so they are burned in pretty well, and I was satisfied with what they produced for a very decent price. I finally decided to invest a bit more into the MX3 pros, and they do not disappoint. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND giving these some time to burn in as it is NOT impressive right out of the box. Right out of the box, highs sounded “tinny” and overly sharp like, much like the M6 pros, and the lows were not as prevalent as I would like, however the mids were very solid. I let these sit for roughly 20 hours straight on burn in tracks, and it did wonders. The highs were incredibly accurate and the mids remained colorful. Bass is defined and you can feel them quite well, but the strength is still somewhat lacking. TLDR: A huge step over the M6 pros, HOWEVER burn in is REQUIRED to get the best sound out of these. ... show more

  • 1st "in-ear" experience.
Color: Clear Size: MX3 PRO
For live gigging, these were recommended as an "upgrade" (to the stock in-ear plugs that came with my PHENYX system) by an "expert" in the sound field and player. Comparing to the original set: Features of the MEE not available with the stock Phenyx set: 1. First thing you notice is the superior cabling to the stock set. The cabling and jack are far more substantial, and, unlike the originals, the MEEs come with a sliding adjusting piece (tightens to the back of your head) which worked great on stage to keep them in place. 2. Left and Right designation. 3. Over the ear "flexible wire" segment made these ear buds more comfortable, fit great and remain in place. 4. Comfort "out of the box" is assisted greatly by a very good selection of interchangeable silicone 'buds' for personalization (I don't see the need for a 'custom' fit set, especially with the soft-forming set). Fit/adjustment is easy and excellent. 5. Sound is clear/clean and more "smooth/natural" than the originals. Very pleased with product quality and performance. ... show more

  • There are others, but my research brought me here....but NO WAY TO UPGRADE THE CABLE !!!!
Color: Black Size: MX3 PRO
Bought for band rehearsals and some gigs. Have some negatives, but not a lot of deal breakers. Earpieces: Well built. I don't throw them around or mishandle them, but they've reliable when I need them. I haven't burned them in fully as of yet, but the 3 times I've used them for gigs have been great...I do want to stress, however.. depending on the mixer you do use, and the gear you stress the mixer through, it will get muffled and drown out everything else, as the case in my band's situation (the Wireless system I was using was mono only, so that effected the results I was getting initially). Definitely need to check for a definite answer, but this was the case for my band's situation. Not a fault of these, but just to make aware for those assuming that these are the end all be alls... especially when I haven't seen any real current reviews (as of Jan 2026), and the in depth reviews I found on YT were 6-7 years ago.... If this was the case, I'll trust these a little better than some of the cheapies and other high name branded IEM's (Shure 215's come to mind) that I have had seen for long term users and reviews... Sound: Like I mentioned above, they could get drowned out when used with a band and how a miser is set-up. I am also using an XVive U45 system (some transparency for the gear heads and snobs), as I mentioned. This system is Mono only, so it really effected my use for the gigs I used these. I have been trying to "burn-in" by using them with my phone via a dongle on my S20 and also my work PC's. Have been clear and great sounding in stereo, very well balanced with the drivers these are using. I am an avid user of Audio-Technica over hear headphones (MX50X, MX50BT, and MX20BT), but by way of BT. I have not EQ'q these on PC, but use an app on my my phone that livened up the sound a lot when I was using the Audio-Techinca cans. The sound stage is great. Bass is punchy as it can be, mids and highs are crisp and clear. Again, I don't know how much burn in can affect these in the long term, but for now, and not using the wireless monitoring in mono, they are what I was expecting. Cable Quality: So far after 3 weeks, they've held up very well with as much burn in time as I can. Using them on my phone and PC at work seem to do well. I do, however, have a small issue with the cable. It is fairly stiff...so stiff if I try to roadie wrap them, the roll becomes undone. There's a gloss to them, so that could be part of the issue as well. Connections are fantastic though. Cinch on the split work well, but there is a definite memory on them as it doesn't lay as flat as I would want them to. The curve helps maintain the hold on my ears. Do feel sturdy while I'm in motion, but that's also due to the eartips I used. This is especially harder when using the supplied soft case that these are packaged with. It's a decent case, but with the cable almost being unmanageable, it will cause issues if you want to carry anything else with them, like the supplied 1/4 stereo adapter, or the 4.4 w/mic cable (which I ditched), or additional foam eartips (it WILL flatten them, guaranteed) AND holding the earpieces in the foam that these are transported in. They don't stay "wrapped" when placing them in the hardcase I just purchased for these. Having a hard time in trying to close the hard case without pinching the cable if I disconnect them from the earpieces. It's a personal preference, but not a deal breaker. I am awaiting one 2 possible replacement/upgraded multi core cable (16 core) for flexibility and no memory for the case. I'll update this review once I try out and choose the cable that works best for me. And for the inexperienced, look for MMXC connections for the ear pieces. Trust me, it will make the search for a replacement for these specific IEM's easier. But choose whatever cable your heart desires for what you want to use these for (4.5mm for mic usage on a phone, USB-C for direct phone, etc). ****QUICK UPDATE**** MEE uses a PROPRIETARY connection. So NO OTHER CABLE UPGRADE PATH to fit these at all! Bummer, as the cable is very unmanageable with the supplied case, or even the hard case, making closing the lid more of a chore due to the cable not laying where I need it to to prevent pinching, otherwise breaking the cable. DEFINATELY knocked another star**** Eartips: This is the only thing I can knock down the 1 star, but keeps the one star at the same time....The regular standard eartips are okay. Similar to wired earbud tips. Nothing to write home about, but do the job. For what I was needing, They don't hold. I've fittem all of them, and none hold in my ear canal. Uncomfortable using any of the supplied eartips for me that I probably purchase a different IEM's all together. However, these are packaged with COMPLY 200 Core Original round foam eartips. Once trying them with these, they isolated very well, and held well with my movement. Nothing straining, and super comfortable. I will review these separately on their own specific item, as I also purchased the exact same, and not the issue with the item themselves. (Which is why I bought the extras). Overall: I love how these are holding up. They sound great (depending on the eartips you use), and they are light. Everything they are supplied with is very much appreciated. It's is the smaller details that knocked it down a star for me, but these are a definite buy, especially compared to what is available on the market for legit IEM's (Shure and Sennheiser) and seems to be a better bang for your buck. I may buy another set for backup's, or depending on my needs (MX4, MX1 MX6 for cheaper for single drivers). I'm thoroughly happy with these. ... show more

  • Perfect for motorcycle riding
Color: Black Size: MX3 PRO
Perfect for my need which is an audio setup when riding a motorcycle while wearing a helmet. They are snug, low profile with little protrusion that causes no pressure from the helmet. Additionally, the wrap-around wiring of each bud helps them stay in place when removing the helmet. Sound quality is great especially with the challenging environment of wind and motor noise that comes with riding. The biggest challenge is interacting with the button feature (pause /skip track / back track) it is small and is a relatively hard press. Additionally there is not a volume level control. All in all a great value for the money in my experience. ... show more
