  • Works Like a Champ
Style: TV Transmitter
We already have a MEE up and working on our Sony TV in the family room. It has been a sanity-saver (mine) in our home as my partner likes to listen to sports on LOUD. It paired easily with a set of Jabra headphones. Wanting to save a couple of bucks I ordered another brand of bluetooth transmitter for my living room TV that did not come with an optical cable. Big mistake as it would not work with the TV settings. I returned it and got another MEE. Again, setup was a breeze as MEE includes an audio optical cable. I paired it with my Airpods (another learning experience) but since my pods are older there is no way to control the volume on them. Duh. I treated myself to a pair of JBL headphones and I'm all set. The neat thing about the MEE is that it will recognize your headphones automatically once paired; no plugging or unplugging any device. You just need to make sure to get the correct audio settings on your TV. I'm not a technical wizard by any means but the MEE was so easy to set up, pair and start listening. They have a couple of excellent tutorials on YouTube if you run into problems. Well worth the money. ... show more

  • Best Bluetooth headphones ever!!
Style: TV Transmitter + Low Latency Headphones
I honestly can’t say enough about these headphones. They’re freaking amazing. They work right out of the box. Connect to the TV. No issues whatsoever and heck they even connected to my Apple AirPods with no problem they can run two different Bluetooth signals simultaneously, which is great A+.

  • Good A>D converter, crisp clear audio
Style: TV Transmitter + Receiver
Got this so I could use my BT phones (Senn HD 350BT) with my (stock) AT-LP3BK turntable. Listening to my Streets of Rage album from data-discs, it sounds at least as good as the digital tracks on bandcamp, played via bt from my phone. Can't say whether it sounds better or worse than plugging in, as I don't have a good set of wired phones for music (at least, the ones I have aren't comparable). It does sound better than the yamaha surround speakers I have hooked up to my receiver, but that may be due to the wires I used, or them being cheap, poor speaker placement, or the old ADC/Amp components in my (pioneer) pawnshop receiver...you get the idea. tl;dr, don't have a good wired setup to compare with. The volume boost hardly does anything, so don't plan to rely on it. You're better off having a little amp before the hub's input or before your speaker's inputs if your source's levels are too low. That said, it might be fine as a simple pre-amp, but it only has a 4 levels so it's not super useful in that regard either. It's not an amp, just remember that. ;) Not much else to comment on. Haven't tried the receiver mode, probably won't use it much. I'm sure it'd be just as good, though. Voice prompts aren't obnoxious, but may be disabled (major plus, imo). LEDs aren't really bright, but can NOT be disabled, just fyi. Includes trs-trs, trs-rca, and optical cables. USB power cable included, but no wall-wart, so you'll need to obtain power from a usb port on your TV/Monitor/Receiver/etc, or get a wall-wart yourself. Inputs and outputs are separate on the back of the unit, one optical and one 3.5mm each, so no worry about feeding line level audio into the output of your preamp as long as you plug into the correct side. The device only receives/sends over one of the two (optical/analog) at a time, so you can't stream to your headphone and your receiver (for instance) if you have one on the analog out and one on the optical. You'd need a separate device to mix or split the audio if you want that functionality. ... show more

  • Not for streaming to hearing aids with TV speaker also on
Style: TV Transmitter
First off, this product worked very well with Kirkland hearing aids. Set up was effortless (Optical out from TV) and the audio was good. A bit tinny but good. If you are alone and mute the TV speaker they will do what they are supposed to. The problem came when one person is listing to the TV (or other bluetooth speaker) and the other through hearing aids. There is a sound delay (echo) that rapidly becomes annoying. I tried hard to adjust to it but in the end had to send it back. Again, a good product. If you were to use a headset that blocked out the TV speaker or muted the TV speaker they would work fine. ... show more
