Very happy customer. I’ve used this chair for my wife who’s suffering from late stage Alzheimer’s and can no longer walk safely on her own. The chair is extremely well built but still light enough for me (71 yo) to easily fold and lift to store in the back of the SUV for trips. Opening the chair for use or closing it for storage/travel are accomplished in just a couple of quick, easy steps. The foot rest attachments are extremely easy to remove and reattach when needed. The hand brakes work well and can be used to temporarily slow or stop the chair (like a bike) or can easily be put into the locked position for safety should you have to step away from the chair momentarily. The only accessory I’ve purchased for it is a zippered travel bag that fits easily over the handle bars to carry extra personal items. I’m new at this but I found this wheelchair to be absolutely perfect for my needs while traveling. It’s so easy to maneuver that I use it frequently for just moving my wife safely and easily around inside our home.

Out of the box it does not stay locked on one side while parked. I had to get my husband to screw the screws on handle to tighten up the one break side that wouldn't stay locked while transferring my mom. Very dangerous because it moves when your getting up or sitting in the chair. It's hard on me as the car giver at 45 so definitely would not work for elderly companions. Carpets are tricky also. I do like the ease of breaking down the chair and the weight of it is easy on my body. I would mostly recommend if you have someone who's handy and can tighten breaks as needed. I feel this shouldn't be an issue for it's cost.

It comes to your house in a tiny soft side carrying bag, amazingly lightweight and your first impression is ‘this probably won’t be what I can use’. Wrong! This easily slips together in just a few minutes without stress, tools or frustration. It is superbly engineered and definitely performs beyond my wildest expectation. It folds by releasing 2 buttons and easily fits in trunk or behind drivers seat. It has two very comfortable yet detachable cushions. The brakes are exceptionally efficient and lock by just pushing down on handles. In short. I think it is FANTASTIC. I highly, highly recommend this for anyone needing mobility assistance for a loved one.

This is a great short term travel/transport chair. It is light, folds up into a small size (like an umbrella stroller), fits through narrow doors, and snugs up to a table. I have tried quite a few and this one is good. However if you use it for continuous use in about 4 months the grommets with the seat under it will tear ( this renders it unusable) and if you repair it in another month a brake cable will break. The company will ship you replacement parts under warranty but it is hard to fix. I am on my third wheelchair because it meets my needs better than others. So if you plan to use it long term, everyday, be prepared to replace it about every 4 months (it still may be cheaper that getting an expensive one). I would have no problem though recommending this for a trip or for occasional use.

Really like the weight, especially of the swing away foot supports. Would have wished there was some kind of attachment that would keep them out of the way when swung out. Makes for a very compact package easy to manage. Will fit easily in any vehicle trunk or back seat and any closet space. Really appreciate the handbrakes avoiding bending down to set or release them. Also like the removable pads for the back and seat, which are washable and attach with Velcro. Wish there was an additional seat pad offered, even at an additional or optional cost because it is needed for longer stints. Much more comfortable with them than without ,but something additional will definitely help. Also like the larger wheels in the back and wish the foot pegs where just a little longer to allow better leverage when overcoming obstacles. The bag is a nice touch but not used at all, could be optional or, in place of an additional, thicker, better seat pad. The folding backrest helps make it a compact package. The restaurant type arms make it easy to get close to any table or desk. It is almost perfect, except for the minor observagtions made. Maybe the manufacturer/seller will read this, make the improvement/changes and benefit future buyers. We're very happy with the purchase and the price is very competitive vs. other offerings that don't include all these benefits. It is not a bare-bones, cheap transport wheelchair but, then again, that was not what we were looking for. Hope this helps!

Because of this chair I can transport my 11 year old son around the house and out of the house with ease, he has a fancy wheel chair but it's so heavy and we mainly use it for appointments. He has CP and Autism. Very happy

Great chair for functional use, good size, light weight and comfortable. The cushions were too thin and we had to buy added cushions to help reduce back and butt pain with just the chair. With the custom, it was a perfect b chair to help move around.
