I purchased this unit years ago but just now reviewing. I woke up one morning with a crippling episode of sciatica. I could barely walk. But I could dial the phone. I purchased this walker from Amazon and I think it arrived the next day. While easy to assemble it was still a bit of a challenge in my sciatic state. But once put together, a real life saver! The unit rolls so easily and has hand brakes. It has a seat with storage which I found quite handy. As the severity of the sciatica subsided I was able to travel to physical therapy, chiropractor and drug store. I tossed my pride out the window and proudly wheeled my way around. People actually held the door for me! Over the last few years I have needed my trusty wheeled walker a few times and I am so glad to have it. One of the best uses for the walker even when you don't need it yourself is to provide a fun filled riding experience for your cat. Mine likes to sit or lay down on the seat and go surfing! This is such an awesome walker. It was easy to put together, it felt sturdy, it is super light weight so easy tto lift in and out of the car, it can be folded up quite easily making it even easier to move it in and out of the car, it had great storage under the seat.... I am 54 and my parents are in their 90's. I've seen my share of good, mediocre and just plain bad walkers. I was in a pretty bad automobile accident on top of having abdominal surgery and really needed something I good count on and put my full weight on. I am 5' 8" and 175. The problem with the walker I received is that it was not as tall as it said it could be extended to and having 3 broken vertebrae, I needed to have the full height and could not be bending over to push the walker. However, I really liked this walker better than any other I've seen with my parents or in their assisted living center so chose to send it back (did I mention the amazing price?) - it didn't meet what it said it was for height but I just re-ordered another of the same model. I'm hoping that the first one I got was a fluke and I got an odd size. I was disappointed that they were out of the color I wanted and I had to take it in blue but I am looking forward to getting another and keeping my fingers crossed that when the "arms" are fully extended, they will be long enough for me, 36". I am lucky that my husband will put it together and it took him LESS than 30 minutes. It probably took that long because of all the interruptions from pets, kids, etc. I would highly recommend this walker and if you are not taller than 5' 8", even if you end up with one of the ones with shorter "arms", that wont matter a bit. II would definitely buy this walker for both of my parents if they should ever need another one. ... show more

Great walker! Easy to put together, holds up on long walks on bumpy roads, nice chair to sit, and store things. I have bad sciatica and DVT pain in the same leg... had a hard time walking. Could not walk a block without cramping up. With this walker, I was able to walk further and when I needed to sit, there was a place to sit. It's a great thing to help me get over the sciatica/DVT pain. Also, the wheels have been holding up on bumpy roads... I've been moving quite fast too. Was easy to assemble. Great to fold and transport. Highly recommend it for anyone that needs support walking. ... show more

Well, got this for my Grandma that has stability issues. Putting it together was rather easy, but there is a couple of problems here. I followed the instructions exactly but the hand grips are backwards. Meaning, the palm area faces the wrong direction. There is no way of correcting this as it would put the wheels on the inside instead of the outside like it is intended to be. This does not affect it's functionality, just places your hands a bit oddly on the handles. I can see for some people this would be a huge deal though how they might lean their hands. The folding aspect isn't as great either. A standard walker is very easy. It just folds in on itself. This one looks like you should be able to just lift it and it collapses down, but it doesn't. You'll need to lean down and lift up the side bar. This is a bit harder for older people to do. Lastly are the locking breaks. This is just outright tough. We have ended up using a different product and my Grandpa is using this one a bit. But the hand breaks to lock them requires my Grandma to use two hands and pulling it down like she's trying to ring a huge bell in a tower. Even I have to put in a slight effort to lock the breaks. The competitor one locks down securely and much easier. I'm not sure if this is just because of brand new or not, but definitely needs to be something that can be adjusted or looked at. Overall, not bad, but could be better for what it is. ... show more

I didn’t pay any attention to the height of this walker because I was desperate to get a walker the next morning!! So, my fault entirely but just so you know…. I am 5.0 tall, petite… lol And this walker is still too short to be used by me daily. I have ordered a new walker with greater height abilities & am happy to put this SHORT walker in storage for next emergency. Lol ... show more
