The quality is what I expected, costume type faux material. Looks exactly as pictured, possibly a little darker. These did NOT fit me out of the box, but I'm 6'4 with larger calves so I kinda expected this. I had to completely reposition the straps by lining up new holes to insert the rivets into. Wore these to Star Wars Nite at Disneyland, was comfortable all night. The material is definitely durable for their use if fit correctly, and is very easy to retool to fit better. ... show more

I've given two stars fast shipping. While these gaiters did not make it to my house in time for my event, I am glad they didn't! They are most certainly not shown in the pictures. The pictures show a very well made, thick, padded, piece of kit. With the pictures provided, I hope you can see what I am talking about. I was very disappointed with what I received. I wish some of these foreign companies would consistently properly represent their products to their customers.
