  • Game-Changer for Busy Moms!
Style: Magic InBra Breast Pump
The Medela Magic InBra Hands-Free Wearable Breast Pump has been an absolute lifesaver. It’s comfortable, discreet, and truly hands-free, which makes pumping so much easier to fit into my day. I love how it fits right inside my bra without feeling bulky or awkward, and the suction is powerful yet gentle—very similar to Medela’s hospital-grade performance. It’s also surprisingly quiet, which is perfect for pumping at work or while caring for my baby. Cleanup is simple, and the parts are easy to assemble and wash. I’ve noticed great milk output without sacrificing comfort, which is huge for me. If you’re looking for a reliable, high-quality wearable pump that gives you freedom without compromising performance, this one is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Glitchy from day one, but still the best pump.
Style: Sonata Breast Pump
First of all, this thing has glitches. They might even start from the first time you use it. Why am I still giving it 5 stars? So far, glitches are all they are, and they're manageable. The comfort of the breast shields on this pump is by far the best I've experienced, and the suction is on par with a hospital pump, even when it's not plugged in and running portable. I have a large chest, so the rims of pump shields will invariably cut into my breast tissue; these have a soft rim, so it's more comfy than others. The kit also comes with two sizes of flanges, the second being a smaller size instead of a bigger one (like a Spectra comes with), so that's a plus for me, since I need the smaller flange. The extras are nice, like the little bottle holder and the freezer pack - I've definitely used these. The pump is overall quite portable and I can generally pump at least twice without charging it, which I don't usually do, because of the glitches. Which I'll go into now. The glitches seem to be related to the power cord or the connection with the cord. You need to really watch when it's plugged in and make sure it's making a connection - you should see the little lightning bolt to indicate it's plugged in, and it should stay steadily lit. If it's not, you need to unplug it and replug it, mess with the cord position, whatever works. You will definitely see the thing come on with CALL on the display, indicating it's broken and you need to call customer service. If it's plugged in when that happens, unplug it, then turn it off. When you turn it back on, it should be fine again. If not, turn off again and back on again until it clears. It happens to me multiple times a day, from day one, but so far it hasn't been actually broken and I haven't had to really call. It definitely freaked me out the first time it happened, though. As long as the glitches stay mere annoyances, I'm very satisfied with this pump. It's as comfortable as pumping can get, portable, powerful even without being plugged in, and as effective as a Symphony. It takes a little patience sometimes, but it's overall very worth the price to me. (I paid for it, since I got a Spectra with my insurance, and this one wasn't offered.) ... show more

  • It didn’t live up to all the hype for me.
Style: Sonata Breast Pump
I did a ton of research and these are my nails thoughts after experiencing the pump firsthand. Unfortunately, I already returned the pump so I can’t attach pictures - but all the reviews are 100% true regarding the crappy screen readability. Some numbers you can’t even tell what they are because of how terrible the lights are. The suction power and/or the flanges, or maybe the combination of the two, actually hurt me to use so that’s the primary reason I returned it. The positive is that it was sooooooo quiet! But that wasn’t enough reason for me to keep it when it was so much more uncomfortable and less efficient than the spectra pump. Also, the pump parts are tedious to clean and most difficult to replace because they are so unique to the medela pump. And finally, the bottles and the flange connector do not work well together at all. It constantly feels like it’s going to break the thin flexible plastic of the top, because when you screw then together it feels like it isn’t tight enough, but when you tighten further it snaps out because the plastic is flexible. (It’s hard to explain without showing the parts, but it was really terrible.) Also, I didn’t like that you couldn’t see your nipples with the flange covers because I’m not a mama that can always detect my let down, but seeing when my milk begins flowing guides me on the settings to tweak. That is something I LOVE with the spectra also, much more customizeable suction and speed settings. I can get three let downs sometimes within 25 minutes when watching the milk flow and adjusting when necessary to maximize output efficiency. This one adjusts the speed and suction together with each level and you cannot change one without the other (like keeping the same speed, but changing the suction). I tried trusting the suction settings they programmed since it was raved about to be so similar to the incredible symphony pump, but it was less efficient for me than a spectra pump. Overall, I just didn’t really enjoy any part of this pump besides the noise level. And I’ll get over that with a slightly louder, but better pump all around. Bummed, because I realllllly wanted to love it and the cooler, bag, and bottles the set came with were great. Oh, and the “handle” is awkward too. 😂 I just didn’t love it and I’m thankful for the ability to return it since it didn’t work for me. ... show more
