So this is my first laser and this is perfect. Installation was a little tricky but that was my fault I forgot to secure the belt. And my computer did not handle the software good. However, all issues resolved and made my first cuts. This machine was perfect I used lightburn and it made it easier. Definitely watch tutorials if this is ur first laser. Did a test cut with the air assist and I can say it did make a difference. The manual is straight forward with all the laser settings you need. Made a beautiful cut on my first run. The laser was large enough and will be for all future projects. I'm looking forward to mastering this. On a side note, support has been very responsive to issues I've had even during my operator error questions. They are fast, professional and willing to assist. Next up are my wedding crafts! Definitely would recommend this product over others. We'll worth the price. Also had all the accessories needed to set it up, and came with laser glasses which are a must.

Mecpow10w Laser engraver works above expectations, it also comes with a great air assist pump that works great also! This is a great laser engraver that is affordable for what you get with it and I think it's better that my 10W ATOMSTACK laser engraver. It is easy to put together in about 15 minutes you can have it up and running. It has decent size engraving area. It also engraves very good I can get the right color burn every time. I would buy this again and I recommend this laser engraver! Good for beginners as well.

5/10/2024 After all the issues customer service seems to want to go backwards. They are trying to tell me how to set the machine up in LightBurn or LaserGRBL. This has to be the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I have even sent pictures and it is truly frustrating that you can not get decent customer support. PLEASE FO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE!!! Even if they improve the hardware, the support makes it a terrible experience. I wish I could give then negative stars. 5/03/2024 The machine has begun stopping before finishing the project. I am again recommending you DO NOT BUY this machine. Customer support is very slow to respond and even when they do, they are not quick to resolve the issue. I have also purchased another brand laser and have no issues with it at all. This has convinced me that the Mecpow brand is very poorly made and supported. My biggest regret in this is that by fooling around with Mecpow customer support my return date has passe and I am stuck with this lousy machine. Again, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! 4/16/2024 The Customer Support has been very good about doing all hat was promised. I am sure they will continue to be as supportive as they have been thus far. I look forward to many more years of using my Mecpow X3 Pro and possibly buying another laser from them in the future. 03/26/2024 Update: The Mecpow customer support team has been in contact with me to resolve the issue. They have been very supportive of my issues and working verry hard to resolve them. I have changed my thoughts about their support and have raised my review to 4 stars and if this support continues I will have to go to 5 stars. The media could not be loaded. Bought this because it was a good price for a 10w and has the air assist. The fire alarm and gyro alarm were an added bonus! I’m a beginner and have never used a laser before. The instructions were easy to follow and set up was not complicated whatsoever. I think it took me maybe 15m. I first tried using the free software LASERGRBL and was able to make some coasters but you can’t design in that and it’s a little clunky so I did the free trial of LightBurn. I’m going to buy that once the free trial is up. I def recommend using LightBurn, it’s so much easier and there are quick videos on YouTube that show you how to use it. You can design in it and import pictures easily. If you’ve ever used a cutting machine like a Silhouette or Cricut, the LightBurn software is much like that. Now I’m easily making keychains! Haven’t tried metal or glass yet, but it’s on the project list. Definitely tested out wood and it works great. Air assist is definitely a needed feature!

My overall experience with this laser engraver is great. Very easy to set up and use with light burn software. The instructions that came with the machine was very informative with step by step instruction.

Assembly was easy (if you use the online instructions, not the ones that come in the box). The machine engraves and cuts "okay", but probably not as good as it should for 10W optical power. The rest is all false advertising. There is no way to have "seamless connectivity without a computer". You can only use the machine with a computer and a USB cable. Even with LaserGRBL or LightBurn (which require a computer) there is no WiFi, no smartphone app, and no mention anywhere on how to use the TF card. There is no "intelligent air assist" (you have to turn a control knob by hand). The "precision limit protection" is just really a homing function, there are no limit switches at the back or right of the machine so it is still possible to ram the laser head mechanism against those rails (I know, because I did). There is no customer service. When I asked questions on Amazon the only response I got was links on how to download LightBurn and LaserGRBL. When I wrote an email to the MecPow support address the response I got was that I needed to send a video showing the problem. None of these problems (except the limit switch one, which I do not want to repeat) can be documented on video. I have more to say, but I think this is sufficient.
