I bought 2 and I am pleased with the look. The assembly was a little bit time consuming but it all came together. it would be a good idea to maybe send with an couple extra support boards. My husband was in a hurry to close windows and knelt down on the corner of the bed and split one of the boards. He was not happy and also shocked that that would happen.I have not reached out to seller to see about getting a replacement yet due to its a bed at our summer home and I wont need it until spring 2023. I would give this a 5 star had this not happened.I loved the colors and the look they add to the rooms. I have one in cream and one in grey, both a very nice!     • Not for the long haul
I really love the way this bed frame looks. It was a huge improvement for us when we got it. However it has not withstood the use it gets from my family. Between my Husband and I, two kids who like to sneak into bed with us and occasionally treat it like a trampoline, the slats have mostly all broken. Unfortunately for my husband, the slats on his side broke first, leaving him feeling like he is rolling off the bed all night. The slats are just made of wood, and not especially sturdy. I wish it would have lasted longer but we’ve dealt with it for the year and a half since I bought it and now it’s time to find something new that will last longer. ... show more

    • Very comfortable and soft for the price you're paying
I decided I needed to become an adult and abandoned the "mattress on the floor" mentality. Wanted something minimal and low to the ground and this is definitely a good pick for that. The frame is all-metal, but they've positioned the cushioning just so, so that you don't notice. For the price I got it for, there are usually some cold metal edges to bump against in the night, but not with this frame. I like that. The idea of using balsa slats to provide additional support is very clever. It makes a mattress softer, and again, this is accomplished with very minimalist and light materials, and you get that value in the price tag. Speaking of that, this frame weighs very little. It can also be disassembled easily, so this is a bed frame that you could reasonably take apart and load it into a car without taking up much space or needing three people to move it - great for folks who move around a lot. If I have one complaint, it is that the construction quality is excellent but in my case, some of the pieces fit together with 0.5 - 1 inch gaps in their alignment. This isn't really a big deal, you don't notice it when it's fully assembled, but it can make putting it together somewhat tricky. The instructions it comes with are also pretty minimal, so I would advise staying organized when you put it together and reading the diagrams carefully. It's not quite as easy to assemble as Ikea furniture, but it's pretty close. ... show more

    • Don't buy unless you have extra support for the bed
I must say this bed frame is pretty and minimalistic. I had purchased this bed frame on Feb 9, 2021. If it wasn't for me being extra ( I was too lazy to disassemble & return the bed ) applying another bed frame base from a previous bed frame that I had, I don't think it would have lasted me this long. I'm 5'3 and weigh 136lbs. I do not move around a lot, and I don't invite others to sit on my bed ... unless ... you know .. yea, haha. you do hear subtle creeks here and there because of the slacks being so fragile, YES FRAGILE, which is why I titled this review the way I did. overall, it looks nice, the packaging was nice. it reserved a lot of space! I was impressed with that. I didn't assemble my own bed so I wouldn't be able to say if it was simple or complex. everything about this bed frame is nice except for the most important part so I don't think it should ever cost over $170 something. (which I think is what I paid for the beige frame) ... show more

This bed is way better looking than I thought it would be. I was a little bit worried about the assembly because of where it came from, but my confidence was quickly renewed because when I put it together after about an hour and a half of assembly time, it came together perfectly and is a super strong bed. I really like the look of it, the gray is a nice dark charcoal, the wood splines are a little brittle, however when it's all put together that doesn't really matter because of the combined strength. The only thing I'm a little concerned about is the threading inside of the frame itself for the screws, because I did find a little bit of rust but cleaned it off and made sure that it was good to go. If you're looking for a cheap bed that looks really damn good, this is the one to get for sure. From what I've read on the reports for this bed, people must be really stupid because the instructions were easy to understand and very clear. All of the hardware came in labeled bags with the instructions that all made complete sense A to A, B to B, etc. very well thought out instructions, and also comes with a really easy to find YouTube instruction video, all you have to search is the title of this actual bed. Tldr: Sturdy bedframe is absolutely worth the money, and looks good to boot. ... show more

I ordered two for my 10 year old and 6 year old. Blue and gray. It was very difficult putting together took a very long time doing it by myself. The wood slats that the mattress sits on they don’t seem sturdy at all I feel like me just sitting on it I’m going to break it. Directions were some what easy to follow. The bed is SUPER LOW to the ground. Amazon only showed me one tracking number so they came separate days had to contact the seller for the second tracking number they were quick and very professional ... show more
