I LOVE this bed frame! It’s an incredible price for such a beautiful frame! I’ve been looking for one like this for a long time, but a lot of them are outrageously priced and don’t come with the full bed- just the headboard and footboard. So i loved that i didn’t have to go find a base! It’s perfect. I did have it come damaged on the footboard and we didn’t notice until it was all set up. The hassle of taking it apart and returning it was not worth it. I was a little disappointed in that, but not enough to knock any stars. The seller offered a small compensation for the damage but it really didn’t cover anything to repair it. Oh well. Still love it! ... show more

I had trouble finding a twin bed that would support my very plus size self along with a sturdy mattress...but this one said it supported 440 pounds... and since I and the mattress together weigh over 400 pounds, I can tell you that it really IS that sturdy and well made. It doesn't creak or bow even when all my weight is in one place (seated) and it is super supportive and comfortable to lie on. This is a great bed! And it looks really nice, too. This arrived with simple instructions and lots of pieces but still pretty easy to assemble if you take it one step at a time. Assembled alone in probably 30-40 minutes. Like how sturdy it is and the weight it can handle. The only down side I have seen is I do hit the support on the side with my foot from time to time but I always have Crocs (shoes/slipper) on so luckily haven't hurt my toes yet but could see that being a bummer if you do hit with your toes. It did have a few scratches on it when arrived and have since gotten a couple but since it is black, I just use a sharpie to fill it in. ... show more

Some assembly required is an understatement as this bed is in many pieces. Based on the limited assembly instructions you need to be very careful using the assembly materials. The parts are very light. Once the bed was assembled it seemed decently sturdy. The paint job on the headboard and footboard left much to be desired as the connection ends were not painted smoothly. Anyway, it looks like it will be a decent guest bed used once in a while. We also bought a 10” memory foam mattress from Amazon. So for a total of $301 we got a mattress and bed frame. ... show more

Great look to this bed and easy assembly. However the “slats” are rounded metal and the mattress slides on them like a flipping hot dog roller. Additionally slats snap into frame with a plastic piece that is mighty easy to break. We are discussing making our own slats to screw in and thereby secure this bed. The bed was easy to assemble and is a very nice looking bed to complement the room. However, the middle support beam is not flush with the two side supports....it sits a tad bit higher so it gets the brunt of the weight. Also, there were bits of sharp metal on a couple of the screw receptors and I cut my finger. Overall, I am satisfied with this bed. ... show more

It's a really nice looking bedframe. Not that easy to assemble. The cross support rods that go the length of the bed do not stay in very well. When I placed my mattress on top, they popped out of their grooves. Very frustrating. But the bed is just as shown in the ad page! Very nice looking & sturdy! ... show more
