Not sure why the oak table cost so much more than the other woods, except to say that it was more difficult to find one available in the lighter wood/finish to match my other furniture. Anyhow, it is beautiful oak with a lovely finish. I bought it to replace the sagging card table I'd been using as a sewing table. I couldn't find any card table with a hard top, but this table was very close in size and height. I needed one that would fit the full-length wrap-around skirt I made some years ago. I have my sewing box and some fabrics in a two-shelf cart on wheels that hides under/behind the skirt. And there's plenty of room for my sewing machine, when in its case, to hide under there too. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that the tip of a screw was coming up through the top of the table.Since repacking for return was not an easy task, I unscrewed it a few threads and filled the hole with wood fill and touched up with a dark wood stain pen. ... show more

This table is exactly what I wanted- big enough for 1000 piece puzzle and sturdy enough to survive my leaning on it as I work the current puzzle. Foldable legs so I can easily store it leaning against the wall out of the way if I have to take it down. Perfect for me!

This table looks like it is worth way more than the price. It was very easy to unpack and set up. Very sturdy. I highly recommend it for a small apartment or as an occasional extra table. Very classy in appearance and does not look like it is a folding table when it is set up. Very impressed.

I love this table...Well made, beautiful finish. I bought it so that my 95yr old stepfather and I could do jigsaw puzzles or play card games...Unfortunately(for me) he thought it would be much more suited for his living room...I love it, I think it's wonderful, and probably just going to buy another one, hahaha ... show more
