I’m really disappointed with this machine. It stopped working after just 10 months of use. I've tried reaching out to the company for assistance, but I haven’t heard back from them. I had to replace an old Keurig K-cup coffee maker that wore out after years of use. I was going to replace it with the same one when I came across this one. It does the same job but for about half the price. It's also a little smaller which is good since it's going in an RV with limited counter space. I have been shopping around for a single-cup coffee maker that allows loose grounds (including loose tea) and pods that doesn't have a bunch of unnecessary bells and whistles. The Mecity brewer checks each of those boxes, is easy to clean and maintain, and makes a single cup of coffee and tea quickly and plenty hot. You can easily use your own coffee blend, bypassing the pods, as long as you remember to use the holders provided specifically for this machine. Overall this isn’t the worst but I did have some issues. First off, it has a removable adapter for either a k cup or ground coffee. I thought that was great because you can rinse it after every use. I didn’t realize it would leak under the removable part as you can see in the picture. (This was one use of hot chocolate.) You have to rinse it every time or it gets gross. For the price I’m happy with it! I love that it’s so compact. It's a little loud, but it’s FAST so it’s over quick. Not as fancy as some of the name brand options, but honestly it makes the same cup of coffee so I think it’s worth the savings. My only complaint is that the little pod holder area gets really dirty.
