I recently purchased a lightweight 50-gallon terrarium for my beardie as a slight upgrade from her 40-gallon and I was struggling to find a carpet for it. This carpet is massive! You can cut it to your liking, just make sure you have fabric scissors or a rotary cutting tool to help avoid breaking the fibers too much. The media could not be loaded. This mat arrived with packing tape all around the package, which made it very hard to open. I also wish it came in a roll like the photos lead you to believe. It’s such a thick fabric it’s really hard to flatten in an enclosure. The fabric also was a little different front compared to back, not sure if it matters which side is on top but I’d appreciate if that was addressed on the packing of the product. The carpet was folded when it came in but it still easy the cut and fit into place. It has no smell and should last a while. My girl can better camouflage in her tank now.

The carpet is great. I had to cut it because my tank is an irregular shape. It was easy to trim down with scissors. Bright color. I put the carpet smooth side up, as other purchasers indicated, and our baby beardy is not having problems with his nails sticking. My only issue was it was 3 days late. And the shipping tag says it was overnighter with means they shipped it late as well. I says prime same day or 2 day shipping but I would not rely on this at all. ... show more

My enclosures are 2 ft by 4 ft, so I thought this would fit perfect. But it's a little over 4 ft long and a little under 2 ft. But the price was definitely worth it.
