This keyboard is almost completely silent. Typically I can't type as fast as I normally do because of how loud the keys are, but I don't have to worry about that at all with this keyboard. I recommend buying a wrist rest because the keyboard sits relatively high off of a flat surface. The size of the keys are perfect. The media could not be loaded. This keyboard is the quietest keyboard that I have used in a very long time. I realize that it advertises itself as being silent, but I was blown away by how silent it actually is! The keyboard is a full sized PC keyboard with a retro styling combined with modern color scheme and LED back lighting. The keyboard connects via USB-C and includes a USB-C to USB-A cable. It has three different angle settings allowing you to adjust the keyboard to your typing preferences. I really enjoyed the feel of the keys. I typically use mechanical keyboards and I find this to be a great option when I need the keys to not be too loud (such as when the kids are trying to sleep). I really like the keyboard color scheme. The retro styling matches well with the gray and light blue keys. The light blue keys give great accent styling. I was able to connect this to my MacBook and it worked perfectly with no issues out of the box. I also like that you can turn the LED backlighting off. I prefer to have the backlighting off, but that is totally a personal preference. I do wish the unit came with a USB-C to USB-C cable. I hated having to use an adapter for the keyboard in order to connect it to my MacBook. This isn't a huge issue by any stretch of the imagination though! In short, I think this is a great value if you are looking for a quiet, wired, full-sized keyboard. The styling is awesome, the feel is nice, and the sound is nearly non-existent. ... show more

I favor using full sized keyboards whenever possible. The MechLands Aula S102 Membrane Gaming Keyboard with Number Pad is perfect for my use. The addition of a ten key number pad and the clear delination of the keys make the keyboard an easy and convenient way to type. Plus the keycaps are white in the version that I selected making them easy to read. Finally, the quiet sounds of the key switches makes it nice to use when others are in the room. As for disadvantages, there are only a few. I don't care for the colored lighting effect, but that is a matter of personal preference. I also wish that MechLands had included a USB hub, but that would have added to the cost. So these negatives really don't distract from my pleasure in using the MechLands Aula S102 Membrane Gaming Keyboard. ... show more
