  • Every year I buy 2 of these; Love using them!
Each year I buy 2 of these packs. I wish they came in packs of 12 (like the year does), but this is how to get 'em! So, like everything else, they seem to be expensive, but they are well worth the price. I'm not a sticker gal, but there is a nice set of motivational stickers included in the pack for those who like to use them. I do make use of the nice month stickers for the undated calendars, designed both for the monthly tab pages and the full-month calendars as well. The pages, like all the Happy Planner pages materials, are heavy duty, can withstand a lot of handling, erasing, and being removed and replaced several times. There are other budget and money planners available, but I prefer these since they are simple, straightforward, and don't have a lot of what seem to be extraneous questions and considerations. I don't want an emotional workbook, I want a nice place to keep track of my daily/monthly spending and income, as well as my expenses. I love these sets for this purpose! ... show more

  • Great product, but wish it was available in a bigger size
I ordered a Big Happy Planner along with this and really wish that these came in the right size to fit my planner. But I suppose that if I have to have the wrong size, it's better to have one that's smaller rather than bigger. I really like how well thought out the kit is It includes: 1. A savings goal planner. You set your savings goal for each month and them there is a cute jar design where y keep track of your progress each month. It would be nice to see a video or picture of how, exactly, to use this page best. I imagine you can just fill each section in with a pencil to represent how close you got to your goal, but wonder if there is a way the creators had in mind when they designed it. 2. 6 tabbed dividers (you can label the months with stickers that they have in the back) with cute designs and sayings, such as a $, "Stop Wishing, Start Doing, "DO Something today that your future self will thank you for", etc. 3. 6 Month at a Glance Pages. They include a variety of charts to track your income (projected and total) and a wide variety of expenses in different categories (housing, transportation, insurance, children, food, taxes, personal care, entertainment, loans, savings/investments, and miscellaneous). Be careful when filling this out. They have the month at a glance page on the back of the former month and BEFORE the tab of the month you use it for. It can be easy to get it confused. 4. 6 monthly spreads (across two pages), 2 bill pay checklists per month (with payment name, due date, amount, paid, and notes), and 5 expense trackers per month (with a quote, date, amount, category/description, payment type, and whether it's a need or want. 5. A really sturdy and cute 2-sided pocket folder. You can use this for bills, receipts, etc. 6. 2 hole-punched sticker sheets with month labels (to label the front and backs of tabs), "payday", bill due, pay bill, piggy banks, dollar signs, etc. As you probably noticed, the pack only comes with 6 month's worth of planning pages, so you'd have to buy a second pack to have enough for the year (even though they include month label stickers for January through December in each pack. You'll also end up not using the cover page of subsequent packs, which seems wasteful. It would be easier if they just included 12 month's worth in each pack. But there's nothing to be done about that, lol. It also sort of worked out because after I added 4 daily filler sheets and just one pack of budget sheets, my planner is pretty much filled to capacity (though I might still try to squeeze in the 2nd pack - just to see if I can. I DO wish they'd create a version for the big planner, though. I don't even have OCD and I'm a bit irritated that I have a thick stack of classic planner pages in my big planner. Overall, though, this will work for me! ... show more

  • I LOVE THIS PLANNER!
I LOVE THIS PLANNER! I've struggled for years trying to narrow down exactly how I like to plan. I was using Erin Condren Vertical Planners since those are "the best." But it just wasn't working for me. I didn't have enough room to plan everything I wanted (daily tasks, meal planning, exercise, budget, etc.) And to try to make it all fit I was spending hours prepping my planner every Sunday before the week started. Plus EC is SO expensive just because it's a "name" brand. I have always seen Happy Planners and been interested so I finally decided to take the plunge. I bought this base 18 month Happy Planner, a fitness insert, and this budget insert. So far I could not be happier! it's so nice to have something so completely customizable! When I added both inserts my planner was way too thick. So I simply took out some of the future months since I don't need them right now. So now I have 6 months of basic planner which I use for daily tasks, reminders, chores, and appointments/errands. Behind that I have 6 months of budget planning and then 4 months of fitness/meal planning. I have enough room for everything instead of trying to cram it all into the same place. Also, a lot of my stickers that were made specifically for EC Verticals still fit in this planner so that's a happy side effect as well. As for this insert specifically. It comes with 6 blank months, stickers, and dividers. There are stickers for labeling the months, but it does not come with number stickers to date the days. Not a huge deal to me, I just wrote them in. But the fitness planner came with stickers for this so I was surprised this one didn't. However, this insert also came with more stickers than the fitness one, it has payday stickers, inspirational stickers to stick to your budget, bill due, etc. After each month there are pages for writing down your bills, due dates, and if they've been paid or not. Following that there is a section to write down all your other expenses. There is plenty of space for that, you'd have to be buying A LOT of things every month to fill up all the pages they give you. Finally at the end of each month's section there is a page to reflect on the month, what improvements you can try to make next month, etc. Overall it's a very handy budget planner that I think is going to help me a lot! Long story short, The Happy Planner and its inserts are absolutely amazing and exactly what I've been searching for. I could not recommend them more!! ... show more
