You need to use this blue light technology a couple of times a day. This one has a 2 min timer that will beep. You can use it longer than the 2 minutes if you wish. I believe that this technology is very helpful in getting those red hard bumps that are under surface of the skin to heal up faster. So far it hads lasted me 3 months. I had a pink Tanda zap that last years... but couldn’t find to reorder when I needed a new one. I believe the blue light technology is the same. ... show more

All my life I suffered with acne. Some days were ok but others days I suffered. A lot of my pimples were red, swollen, and painful. I felt embarrassed and depressed. Around my late 40’s I saw this product in a store and had it for many years. I had to reorder a new one and this really works. Whenever I feel a flair up, I use this and the next day no pimple. Also works if you already have an pimple on your face. This product is not painful or drying to the skin. Press button then release and put on the affected area. It lights up and you will feel a little warmth on the area. No more acne cream that did not work or took a long time. This product is quick and easy. Note that this is not for cystic acne. Quit working <2 weeks and after a few uses. After the minimum uses it didn’t do anything. Don't waste your money on this cheaply made device. Also bought this from vendor Savvy Deals,LLC through Amazon and I had to pay shipping to return it. Beware of doing business with Savvy Deals,LLC.

    • Works and Battery Lasts a Long Time
I’ve had this device for well over a year. It works overnight on acne. And usually by the second treatment the pimple is healed. As for the battery I’ve only needed to charge it once and I use this at least once a week. I do not understand why so many people say this is cheap and breaks, because mine is still working great. These days, it's hard to find an honest opinion on Amazon, with the litany of "vine customer reviews of free product", which are obviously designed as a loss leader. The company pays people to leave good comments, thus generating more sales, and by the time the true, negative reviews pile up, it's too late, and people have wasted their money with no recourse. The truth is, this thing probably does work to a degree, and perhaps even quite well. I used it for a total of two months, maybe 6-8 minutes a day, and I noticed a significant improvement over not using it. The technology is similar to what's used in expensive dermatology office treatments, so it makes sense that there should be some results. The problem is, as several other reviewers have written, this thing is not built to last. It really does stop working after a month, like they say. I guess, when I purchased it, I thought that those people must have abused it or over-used it, or simply gotten unlucky with a bad unit, and that I would take care of mine and be OK. Well, it didn't work out. The first one I got simply stopped working altogether after about three weeks. After much struggle, the company agreed to take it back and send me a new one. The second one I received lasted slightly longer before the motor stopped turning, and soon after stopped holding a charge. This time, though, too much time had elapsed, the warranty was void, and I couldn't return it. So, if you're alright with buying a new one every month, then go for it I guess, but that's going to get pricey over the long term... ... show more

I think it works so far. The device is designed to kill acne bacterias. This will only work on inflammatory acne therefore it wont work on blackheads or whiteheads. It wont minimized pores or fade acne scars. But as far as minimizing the swelling of acne, it does work. And for the price and purpose of the device, i think it’s worth it. I had it for about 3 months now. Also, This only works best if you have few breakout once in a while like one acne here and there. I dont recommend this to people who has chronic moderate to severe acne cuz it definitely wont work. ... show more
