We've had this set for about a year. Like other reviewers, we do see some light scratches, but nothing unusable. After about a year of use, we did begin to experience 2 plates breaking in half in the microwave so far.

I bought this product to use for plating and food photography. I was looking for a matte plate that wouldn't glare when taking a photo. These are fine, but there is still a bit of a glare depending on the angle you are working with.

I bought these plates along with the matching bowls and smaller plates. I really love the colors and they plates really photograph well since they're matte (this is important to me because I am a food blogger). The only problem is that they scratch pretty easily. If there's food on them, you can't tell but when the plate is bare, you can see them. Despite this, I still like them. When they arrived, they were all in one piece and I've had them for over a year with constant use and the only problem is the bit of scratching. Overall, I really like them.

Really poor quality control, I ordered 2 sets of 4 of the 10 inch dinner plates, the 8 inch salad plates, and a set of the bowls. The bowls were the best quality of the bunch the plates were not. Most were chipped or had defects in manufacturing, all 4 plates in one of the boxes were shattered. Once finally getting 8 good plates without issues, I put them to use and noticed they scratch extremely easy. Simply using a fork on them leaves scratch marks. Knives are worse. They also sound like nails on a chalkboard when you run your fork across them. A lot of restaurants are using colorful ceramic plates and I thought these would be similar to what I’ve seen at restaurants, the biggest difference is that the ones at restaurants are colored ceramic, these are all white (or eggshell) ceramic plates that are painted over (very poorly). The paint is uneven around the edges, there are spots where the paint was missed, and spots where the paint splashed into the eggshell boarder. I don’t want to go through the hassle of returning 8 dinner plates, 8 salad plates, and 8 bowls so I’m likely going to deal with it but these are not worth the cost and I would not recommend these.

We like these so much that we bought a second set. These are our everyday dinner plates, small plates and bowls. Very satisfied and love the colors! Color holds up in the dishwasher just fine.

Like other reviewers said, they are really stylish, but they do show knife scratches on the sheen of the plate. I like the colors (as pictured) and the size. The plate is about the size of the eating part of my former Pfaltzgraff plates. I like how there's more room in the cupboards due to the small size. These look good with our reclaimed wood table and gray woven placemats with off-white trim. Consider also getting the similarly-colored llama dessert plates from Joss & Main to go with them. I haven't bought them yet, but I'm thinking about it.
