I purchased this in my last semester of nursing school to replace my littman lightweight se. This was definitely worth the purchase. It has great sound quality. I always struggled to identify different breath sounds, the sound on this was a massive improvement and I could actually hear the difference. Even something simple such as doing a manual blood pressure was easier as it was easier to hear the difference when the cuff was pumped up. it is a it heavier than the littman but the weight just reminds you that you have it with you.

Sounds great, pretty clear. But down side: tubing is really thick and STIFF. Not very flexible… the head turns way too easily, when I hold it to an animal’s chest, if it’s at a slightly weird angle at all the tube turns leaving you listening to nothing. So you have to hold the head and the tube so it doesn’t spin.
