I’ve been using my MDF ProCardial stethoscope in a few different settings — an allergy clinic, a rehabilitation center, and an assisted living facility — and it’s been amazing every time. The sound quality is crystal clear; I can easily pick up subtle heart and lung sounds without struggling, even in busy environments. What really makes it stand out is the attention to detail. The clear bell covers are such a nice touch, and I love that you can order extras to switch between patients — it’s convenient and hygienic. I’ve had nurses and doctors compliment me more than once for choosing MDF over the more “popular” alternative, and honestly, I see why. It’s stylish, durable, and performs like a dream. As a cardiac nurse, this stethoscope has exceeded my expectations. Able to hear heart sounds and lungs very clearly. Super functional and it isn’t too heavy. I basically wear it around my neck for 12 hours and have no issue. Great size and quality. Instructions and extra ear pieces included!

very surprised with the quality! I was sceptical as all I've ever heard of was Littmann but after a resident stole my stethoscope I didn't want to dish out 200+ dollars on a cardiology littmann. I found this brand on amazon and after reading reviews I purchased one. not only do I get compliments all the time on the color combination, the sound quality is amazing. I'm a younger human but damn I felt like I couldn't hear hyperactive bowl sounds with my littmann; theres no questioning that murmur with this baby! much to my surprise, the quality of this stethoscope is amazing. now, it is on the heavy side and it does get stained from pen markings(but so did my littmann) but in my opinion, those are just cosmetic petty complaints compared to what it was designed for which it exceeds those expectations.

I got this stethoscope (black tubing/rose gold finish) in April of 2021 as a replacement gift for a different cheap stethoscope as I was moving from being an EMT to being accepted into nursing school. It has lasted this long (Jan. 2023) and would probably last much longer if I didn’t find it so massively heavy. During clinical rotations (12.5 hrs) I would get sharp pinching in my neck just from the pure weight of the stethoscope laying around my neck on hour 3/12…. Yeah, it’s that heavy. Throughout the day it would slip down one side of my neck as the bell/diaphragm would weigh the entire thing down and I had to constantly adjust it. Finally I got so tired of the pain and hassle it was and purchased a bat clip so that it could sit on my waistband or pocket and be out of the way and eliminate my neck pain. The tubing was very stiff and I have yet to get it completely worked out and malleable, but that’s not a big deal to me, though it might be for others. Another issue I dealt with on a much more minor scale was the flimsiness of the earpieces, BUT MDF has free parts for life so I was able to get replacements when they ripped due to me rubbing them on something like a wall or the desk accidentally. I’ve seen people commenting about the metal parts getting worn or scratched and yeah, that’s bound to happen with any normal long term or aggressive short term use but it’s really not noticeable at all unless you are examining it two inches from your eyes. Aside from the weight and other minor issues I experienced with the stethoscope, I had NO complaints in regard to sound quality, functional parts, aesthetics, etc. I was constantly complemented on the clean yet fancy look of the black and rose gold contrast, praised for my recognition of identifying lung sounds or heart murmurs that other students couldn’t quite hear correctly, and was vetted out to show cardiology docs how the bell/diaphragm attachments could be swapped for peds and adult use. I personally would not buy this again for myself if my current one ever broke but I have purchased other MDF stethoscopes which are significantly more lightweight and I am happy with as well.

I don’t have enough words to say how much I love MDF instruments. My husband gave me the rose gold stethoscope as an anniversary gift and it is just beautiful, so solid, auscultastes amazingly and the best of all, this company truly cares about the happiness and satisfaction of their costumers. So as you can see I have a white tube and a black tube. I’ve been on the acute care floor and we’ve been having a lot of patients on isolation, so we need to use a different stethoscope on them but still, for precaution, they make us clean our stethoscopes with those horrible wipes. I didn’t use my stethoscope because it’s white and it would get yellow for sure. I contacted them asking if I could exchange it for the black tube and they sent me one completely free of charge! I love how they have the free parts for life, it’s super useful when you float everywhere around the hospital and get all kinds of situations that can damage your stethoscope.. The price is on point and they offered us a military discount!! So yes, I will be an loyal costumer for life. This is my third stethoscope, I have an ADM and a classic littmann, and This one is my favorite! I’m planning on buying another MDF stethoscope but the classic one instead of the cardiology because I don’t really need a cardiology for my daily basis. This is an awesome stethoscope if you’re a student!!
