I don’t have enough words to say how much I love MDF instruments. My husband gave me the rose gold stethoscope as an anniversary gift and it is just beautiful, so solid, auscultastes amazingly and the best of all, this company truly cares about the happiness and satisfaction of their costumers. So as you can see I have a white tube and a black tube. I’ve been on the acute care floor and we’ve been having a lot of patients on isolation, so we need to use a different stethoscope on them but still, for precaution, they make us clean our stethoscopes with those horrible wipes. I didn’t use my stethoscope because it’s white and it would get yellow for sure. I contacted them asking if I could exchange it for the black tube and they sent me one completely free of charge! I love how they have the free parts for life, it’s super useful when you float everywhere around the hospital and get all kinds of situations that can damage your stethoscope.. The price is on point and they offered us a military discount!! So yes, I will be an loyal costumer for life. This is my third stethoscope, I have an ADM and a classic littmann, and This one is my favorite! I’m planning on buying another MDF stethoscope but the classic one instead of the cardiology because I don’t really need a cardiology for my daily basis. This is an awesome stethoscope if you’re a student!!

very surprised with the quality! I was sceptical as all I've ever heard of was Littmann but after a resident stole my stethoscope I didn't want to dish out 200+ dollars on a cardiology littmann. I found this brand on amazon and after reading reviews I purchased one. not only do I get compliments all the time on the color combination, the sound quality is amazing. I'm a younger human but damn I felt like I couldn't hear hyperactive bowl sounds with my littmann; theres no questioning that murmur with this baby! much to my surprise, the quality of this stethoscope is amazing. now, it is on the heavy side and it does get stained from pen markings(but so did my littmann) but in my opinion, those are just cosmetic petty complaints compared to what it was designed for which it exceeds those expectations.

Absolute excellent product for the money spent! I would certainly have a hard decision to make when it came time to replace this many years down the road! I have a Cardio III and I absolutely love it, but this MDF certainly gives it some stiff competition! the sound is AMAZINGLY clear and it looks gorgeous

Im starting a job as a PCT EMT in the emergency department in a few weeks and I needed a good stethoscope that could hear well but I also wanted it to be lightweight, I had a hard time debating between the 2 so I just ended up ordering both. One will be returned so let’s see who wins this battle. - MDF : I really love rose gold and you don’t find many rose gold stethoscopes. • I do hear that many people have had issues with the white tube becoming discolored from their scrubs however I believe putting a clear coating on the tubing piece may help that or just getting a different colored tube like black would work. • MDF does come with lifetime warranty and free replacement parts. • I can say that compared to littman I did notice littman being a bit louder, however MDF did have decent sound! • The weight of the MDF is insane. Very heavy at the chest piece which gives the entire thing a pretty heavy feel around your neck. And the tubing is very thick. Not to mention it’s longer compared to Littman, (see pictures) so if you’re okay with a little extra weight or you have a thicker/ bigger chest then I say go for it! • Also to note, since it is rose gold the metal will start to tarnish, It hasn’t happened to mine because I haven’t used it yet, but with rose gold, it’s bound to happen, possibly putting some sort of clear coat might help slow the tarnishing process as well may help. But be aware that using alcohol to clean it, is just going to speed up the tarnishing process, just something to think about. • Also, the price for this stethoscope fluctuates up and down daily so if you’re debating on buying it, just do it and If you don’t like it return it! - LITTMAN • Littman offers warranty for 5 years and accepts free repairs whereas MDF offers lifetime warranty • littman comes in various colors • Lightweight, the tubing is so much thinner and overall the stethoscope itself is shorter which makes it comfortable around a smaller sized neck. • Littman does sound 100% louder and clearer compared to MDF where the sound was a little muffled, still MDF does do a good job but if I could I’d buy a rose gold littman in a minute • With littman I don’t worry about my black scrubs rubbing off on the tubing at all. I almost feel like the tubing on the MDF is different, but I’m not sure. But seeing as though my Littman is blue, I doubt I’ll have as much to worry about compared to a bright white tube. And please DO NOT clean your stethoscope with bleach people, the tubing will become discolored very easily. •Lastly, this Littman stethoscope is the best thing to clean. I don’t worry about cleaning it with rubbing alcohol at all. I understand that MDF and littman are both stainless steel, however MDF has a rose gold coating over it, it isn’t solid. So keep that in mind when cleaning the metal. Hope this helps someone who’s debating between MDF & Littman like I am!
