I purchased this in my last semester of nursing school to replace my littman lightweight se. This was definitely worth the purchase. It has great sound quality. I always struggled to identify different breath sounds, the sound on this was a massive improvement and I could actually hear the difference. Even something simple such as doing a manual blood pressure was easier as it was easier to hear the difference when the cuff was pumped up. it is a it heavier than the littman but the weight just reminds you that you have it with you.

I bought this for my friend who is a doctor. She loved it. The stethoscope is light in weight, and it works good. According to my friend, the sound quality is good and it works well at work. It’s also eye catching since it’s different and colorful. She recommends it. 👍🏻

I was just asked the other day if this was a Littman and I replied, “No, but it’s just as nice and it’s less expensive.” That prompted me to leave a review! I am a hospice RN so having a reliable stethoscope is vital - especially when I’m completing my pronouncement visits. I can also hear all types of sounds when auscultating the heart, lungs, and abdomen. I was on call one night and had to contact the MD. He needed me to describe the abdominal sounds in specific detail as he was deciding if it was a bowel obstruction or not. This stethoscope was a Godsend as I could easily provide the info the doc was looking for to decide his diagnosis. I can’t imagine anyone being dissatisfied with this model. I’ve completed hundreds of assessments and dozens of pronouncements since purchasing it only 6 months ago, and it’s still in as excellent shape as when I first bought it.

I've been a Littman's boy since I started clinical in Medical School and both have suffered the same fate: cracked crystallised tubing. I can't say if MDF is immune to this...but I can say that it has the same auscultatory capacity as a Littman Cardiology at 1/2 the price. A bit heavy, but there are Titanium options to mitigate that. I've heard good things from co-workers, so we'll see.

This is THE most heavy stethoscope I've ever owned. Seriously, no one would want to steal this. No one did. I loved that it was a bit longer especially in the hospital settings. audio quality is a b+. It's so heavy it will hurt your neck. It was too big to fit in a little hip thing I bought to carry it on.
