I was looking and doing research on what brand I should get for a stethoscope. I will be starting practicum/clinicals soon. From all the reviews I seen and read this one was the one that stood out most! I didn’t want to right away jump into a “brand” name without knowing what it is I am actually looking for. But this one came in right on time. Packaged nicely and with multiple plastic earpieces , along with 2 dial diaphragm pads as extra protection, personally I won’t be using them. Not sure what those saying can't hear, don't work, no good, WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!!! These do have to be used from only one direction so maybe they all used them backwards?!?!?!? These are extremely lightweight and sensitive to sound. Sometimes I think they may be too sensitive as I've used some higher end brands that have a more canceled out, clear sound. This is a great little stethoscope for the family household. I have a dog with pneumonia, and I just wanted to be able to hear his lungs. I am not a nurse, but the stethoscope seems very loud to me. I love it and very inexpensive.
