I’ve found this machine to be solidly built and overall very good quality. Assembly was fairly straightforward, though the instructions became a bit confusing toward the end and I had to make a few educated guesses. Once put together, it’s easy to use and offers smooth, controlled motion with a great range of movement. In terms of performance, it works extremely well for targeting quads, glutes, and hamstrings. It feels stable and effective during both hack squat and leg press variations. The compact size is a big advantage for my small home gym, though the foot boards are a little smaller than I’d prefer. My main complaint is the way the padding attaches when switching from hack squat to leg press mode. It just sits in place rather than securing firmly, and I wish it had a more reliable attachment system. Even with a few drawbacks, I still think this is a worthwhile purchase and a great addition to a home gym. It’s well‑priced for the quality and functionality, and I expect to keep using it for a long time.

I have been using this twice a week for the last four weeks. Overall I am happy with the purchase and thought the value was good for a hack squat/ leg press machine. PRO: Price point, great value for a machine that is a hack squat and leg press. Size/ dimensions I work out in my basement so space is an issue. This machine fits nicely. It takes up less space than my treadmill. Smooth operation. It has a bunch of tiny ball bearings and slides very easily. Safety, the machine has stops that prevent you from going too deep in the motion and failing to make the lift. This is important for those that workout alone. CON: Noisy. All the tiny ball bearings make a bit of noise. Not a deal breaker but depending upon where you place it this could be an issue. Foot boards are a bit small and could be a bit larger. Again not a deal breaker just does limit certain motions. Should know before you buy: The wrenches that come with the machine aren’t very good. You will need 14 and 17 mm combination wrenches at a minimum. A socket set with those would be preferred. The machine comes in two large boxes. The heaviest is 80 lbs. for me it wasn’t an issue. I drug them through the garage and into my basement. Having to navigate up or down steps should be considered. Conclusion, I’m happy with the purchase and it works my legs from different angles. My leg day workouts have definitely improved.

This has quickly turned into one of my favorite pieces of home gym equipment. Put together with a little help from my son in under two hours. The machine is sturdy, glides smooth, holds a substantial amount of weight and doesn’t take up too much space. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a hack squat/leg press machine. Well worth the money.
