I gave this four stars because once I got over the initial brutality of build and installation, it’s really cute and perfectly functional. (A user error warning: the corners are EXTREMELY POINTY. if you’re planning to place it somewhere that gets a lot of traffic, or if you reach into the shelf from next to it rather than in front, be careful. I have four scratches on my arm so far and one drew blood lol) Multiple pieces came damaged, but I was lucky that they were either wall-side or would not be visible the way I was hanging it. Unfortunately, one of them was the backing, so the removable shelf doesn’t sit quite flush. I don’t care that much, but I saw damaged pieces in a lot of other reviews too. This was very, VERY difficult to put together. There were pre-made holes with a slide-to-lock system that were obviously intended to be very user friendly, but they were poorly aligned and it took me more than 20 minutes of squeezing and struggling to get the first handful of pieces together. Once I was past that it was fine. ***I did not realize this before buying: It does NOT have pre-installed hardware to hang it and you have to drill your own holes, so if you don’t have power tools I would not recommend it. Also, the screws and washers are kind of eyesores, you can see them inside the back of the cabinet, not a fan of this. ... show more

** Update. the manufacturer sent me the correct piece however the doors barely fit together and i have to force the cabinet shut every time i open and close the doors. gets the job done i guess. The most critical piece came damaged, 3 out of 4 locking pieces were broken off. I ordered another one free of charge and the knob hole was drilled on the same side as the hinge. WHAT THE HELL. how hard is it to send a product that is just… not destroyed/used or made improperly?? ... show more

At least all the parts were in box. But the design and production quality very low. Specifically board parts needed to be precision cut and fitted and they were not!! Top piece was cut half inch too short and didn’t fit snug , visibly off. Mentioned before are problems with cabinet doors. The cuts in doors for hardware caused doors to misalign completely so would not close or sit squarely. Tried to move drill holes to get it to fit. Not possible. In end, I have a wall shelf with no cabinet doors. Price of item is attractive but you don’t get the value or what you wanted in first place! Don’t pick this! ... show more
