    • I love this thing!
Well, when I got it, I was told it fell off the truck. You could see the crushed corner of the crate and came in. I did not want to send it back because that would take too long. I was so afraid it was broken but to my surprise, it wasn't perfect shape! I took pictures of everything before I opened it that way I could have proof. I had to buy a new air compressor to use it. The recommended 120psi did not work for my 8 gallon 120 PSI compressor. So I bought an 80 gallon 155 PSI compressor to run it. The thing is perfect! So far I replaced all the tires on two cars, My truck and Trailer. I bought it for my business. Part of that is that I recycle tires for customers and wanted to remove the rims. I removed over 200 tires for that purpose so far outside of the vehicles I did above. I would highly recommend getting this! Mine took the abuse of falling off of a truck and it still works like a champ! The only thing I hate about it was putting it together. The instructions are horrible. It was almost like someone in China made the instructions and sent it off to a interpreter and something went horribly wrong in the translation. If you take your time and look at things logically you'll figure out how to put it together. Also, I had amazingly fast shipping!!!     • Need re-engineering!
It's not unreasonable to expect a tire machine to do more than just smaller car tires. The way this was designed there is not enough room to fit a standard truck tire and rim on the machine to mount it! Not happy with that. And to add to the misery the balancer makes you counterbalance almost every tire you do. Would not recommend at all ... show more

    • Great tire changer and balance machines
This tire changer and balance machines are a great deal. I'm an ASE certified technician and use a Ranger tire changer and Coats balance machine at work. This Mayflower product beat them both for ease of use and so far durability. The bead breaker pedal is located for easier operation than most commercial tire changers. This tire changer even works on 10" rims for golf carts and lawn tractors. If you've use other machines, you know what I'm talking about. The balance machine is much less complicated when adjusting the various settings. It doesn't have a hood, but to me that just saves space in my shop at home. I have multiple vehicles and I often flip cars for extra money, so I often order tires much cheaper shipped right to my home. Definitely worth the money. ... show more

    • Instructions are horrible and support is just the same
So, where do I start? For the most part, the machine came mostly assembled and the instructions were not relevant. Fine details require YouTube searches. The air intake connector is 7/16 EURO fitting so finding the correct coupling is a challenge, but with a creative mind, a more common size substitute can work. My assist arm came in a damaged box with one bolt crossed threaded. If you desire phone support, curb that and learn to use email which answers do come rather quick but are not generally helpful. You are buying a machine, not customer support so as long as you can figure out problems on your own, this would be a good purchase. ... show more

    • Very impressed with them.
I will start off with the seller, smooth transaction, they offered lift gate service with the purchase, the delivery driver they used was awesome, backed the truck to my shop and unloaded in the shop. Awesome! Now for the tire changer, I have used pretty much all the big name changers out there. This changer for the price impressed me, it removed 14 old hard poly glass- polyester tires from the 60's. If you know how tough those old things are then you can relate. It fought them but got them off, with that being said newer radials are a breeze. It does have some small opinionated issues, everyone has their own. But main point is I'm impressed and happy with it so far. The air quick disconnect fitting threads are metric. So make sure you order a quick disconnect female end or you can adapt fittings too. The tire balancer, just like the changer, I've use big name balancers too. This one pretty much does the job just like them. I only complaint, you have to use a fairly new clean 15inch steel wheel with and new/fairly new tire to calibrate it. I've always been used to only having to use just a steel wheel. ... show more

    • Customer service SUCKS product will not do the sizes it says.
Customer service sucks. You can't ever get someone on the phone. Instructions suck. Tire machine is ok but I don't think it will do as big of a tire it says it will because when doing a 18in rim its all but out of room. The balancer is so confusing. Have had it for months and still trying to figure it out. Balancer will not balance above a 17 in rim correctly without ordering more adapters. Stay far away. ... show more

I have to admit my first time dismounting and mounting tires. It was pretty easy. I am a combat veteran and helicopter mechanic and removed and replaced split rims and tires hundred of times. But this was a little different but doable with this machine. Seller called and asked if I needed it delivered to my home with a lift gate. I advised yes. Took about 12 days to get to me and the freight gentleman called when he was like 25 minutes away and even put it in my shop for me. Everything about the delivery was spot on.
