Hey, its a toilet seat. But it is a nice one, wood and no banging and all that. I added a very small clear rubber pad to the toilet tank so when the seat put up it is silent and vibration free. This does take extra care in cleaning, because it is wood, not plastic. But for the overall feel of something you use this much, its worth it. We had one of the hinges on this break after 18 months of use. The product was out of the 1 year warranty, but Bemis Manufacturing, (the owner of Mayfair brand apparently) replaced it for free anyway. Would be better if the product hadn't broken, but defects happen and it was no hassle to have the issue resolved. Review went from 1->5 stars. ... show more

Whoever thought someone could get excited about a toilet seat? I cannot speak to whether it was easy to install because I had a handyman do it for me and it took him 20-25 minutes to remove the plastic piece of ____ I had and to install this seat. I am a senior citizen and also plus sized so it was important to me to get something that wouldn't slip around and, that would be able to support my weight and, I think I found it! It's well made and sturdy and while it doesn't have a slow closing lid, that wasn't as important to me as making sure I had a secure toilet seat. No joke, the first time I used it I could tell it was heavy duty and well made. I'll update my review if necessary but for the moment, I would say I am 100% satisfied and would recommend the toilet seat without any reservations. ... show more

This is so much better than our Home Depo one. It was like a slip and slide every time we sat down it would come loose 😩. I can’t tell you how quiet it is no more slamming from the kids anymore. High quality you can even sit on the lid and it doesn’t bend. We got the two pack you can’t beat that.

Sorry no photo of the toilet seat!!! This is really a very, very sturdy seat. It is easy to tighten down securely, it has not come loose at all. The lid and bottom both a slow to come down. I forget sometimes in places when i use the toilet they dont have the slow closing lids, WHAM! sure makes a loud noise when i forget. Easy to clean and well made...it is not going to come lose when you tighten it down! ... show more

Installation could not be more easy. Fits perfectly, soft close works great. After 2 years, one of the hinges broke on the seat (the donut part). It's just thin plastic. I'm upgrading (hopefully) the replacement to Wssrogy https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MT8N99F?th=1

Love the way it works but on my 3rd one as the spring loaded hinge portion is weak and breaks with normal one person usage. Wish they just sold replacement hinge so I don’t have to purchase entire seat

Works great, fits great, as easy to install as any toilet seat. Fair warning, you'll get so used to the slow close you'll forget at a friens's house and scare everyone when you drop the seat and lid from full open. Not too great for your heart either.

This is my second purchase of this toilet seat. I used these to replace plastic seats that cost much more but had cracked in the front of the seat. I used wooden seats before I replaced my toilets in a remodel and was very happy with their sturdiness. I have cabinets above my toilets that go up to the ceiling and I have to stand on the toilet seat to reach the top shelf, which I use to store toilet paper and Kleenex and towels. The seat comes with instructions that make it very easy to install. There is also a written caution regarding avoiding the use of harsh cleaning products such as cleansers and products we use to clean toilets, as some products may damage the finish. That is the only reason for the one rating of 4 stars for "Easy To Clean". ... show more
