Description

This Mayfair toilet seat features a Whisper-Close hinge, slowly and quietly lowering the toilet seat lid and eliminating slamming and pinched finger. The Top-Tite STAY-TITE seat fastening system secures the seat so it will never loosen. A durable molded wood, high-gloss finish resists chipping and scratching. Fits all manufacturers' round bowls. NOTE: Colors on a website or printed from a website can vary drastically from the actual color of the toilet seat due to monitor and printer settings. The colors on this page are for approximate visual use and should not be used to match colors exactly to a toilet bowl.

Love these Mayfair toilet seats! Easy to install! Love how the lids will close on their own. I even had one of the nuts break on me as I tightened up and I call the company and they are sending me a replacement part. I highly recommend the Mayfair 1843SLOW toilet seats. Oh and great price too!

    • Less than one star of I could!
Size: Elongated Pattern Name: Traditional Hinge 2-Pack
Review Image by Jen G.
We have had these installed for a little over a month. Initially I did not like that they weren’t closing at all. They were not just slow, they got stuck! I read a review saying it took a bit for them to loosen up and had some hope. They did get a bit faster, but not enough to close before flushing. Then one snapped out of nowhere. I reached out to the company since they are under warranty. My initial email had photos attached and explained I could no longer return via Amazon since it was 11 days outside the return window. I received back a very genetically worded email asking for photos and suggesting that I return it via Amazon. I wrote back again providing the information again with additional photos of the other seat that doesn’t close requesting that both be replaced. Now I received an email saying that they were replacing one of them. I would not waste your money on these at all since there’s so many other models within the same price range that will hold up longer. I should’ve went with our last ones that lasted four years. ... show more

    • A serviceable replacement
Size: Round Pattern Name: Traditional Hinge 2-Pack
Measured twice, ordered once, and the product was a perfect fit! The instructions aren't really necessary, but if you need them they are incredible easy to follow. I'm not sure how long the plastic hardware will hold up, but it seemed sturdy enough for the job at hand and I appreciated the snap-off component once the screw is appropriately tightened. The soft close works like a charm, and as far toilet seats go, these work just fine to replace the old, worn seats that came with the house. ... show more
