I was so excited about these arriving for my bedroom revamp for the first time in a decade. My disappointment in how poorly put together they are is just as massive as that excitement. The drawer face is held together with tiny pin nails and glue, so one was already snapped off when I opened the box. I figured I have a nail gun and could fix that afterwards, but then I encountered the insurmountable problem. I figure that either the drawer bottom or drawer sides, or the slot for the melamine drawer bottom aren’t cut appropriately because I couldn’t get the backs installed levelly. When I line up the pre drilled holes (only possible at the top of the drawer), it is 8 kinds of wrong. I am so disappointed I don’t know whether I want to request replacement parts or a refund. Just exhausting. Update: replacement order came. Same issue, one drawer front was in pieces and the melamine drawer bottom is 1/4 to 1/8” too long. I used nail snippers to get it to fit. So I successfully put together 1 out of 4 units, but have to return all of them to get my $ back. Terrible quality control. You get what you pay for, I suppose. ... show more

These are great nightstands but I feel like they are a little expensive for the quality. They were tedious to put together but it wasn't that difficult. The only negative is that some of the pieces don't fit together so I had to adjust how it was put together a few times to figure out how to overcome the issue. Really cute looking piece but with any bed on a frame or box spring this looks weirdly short. Also screws are exposed once built which is a little tacky.

    • Don't expect too much
So, if you're expecting a real quality product, this isn't it. It has the 'cheaply made in China' sterotype all over it. It is not real bamboo. It is a laminated product. Some reviews said it was hard to assemble, but I had no trouble with it. Although the assembly instructions aren't the clearest, if you lay all the parts out before hand, it's really pretty simple. It went together in around 10-15 minutes. They give you all the tools you need, but it helps if you have an electric drill/screw driver. The legs are adjustable, so it's pretty sturdy, For what I'm using it for (a small practice guitar amp stand) it'll work just fine. A couple of things to note: 1) The drawers have no stops on them, so unless you jury rig something, they will pull right out if you're not careful. 2) The top rear brace is too short...almost 3/8". This was a common issue in other reviews of this product, so the design must have a flaw in it or the quality control is lacking. Anyway, I used a couple of rubber flat washers and, for what I'm using it for, it's sufficient. ... show more
