These go on really easily, even for someone who hasn't used liquid liner in a while. I like the little felt tip brush, although some may prefer a true multi-bristle brush. You have to use a light hand to get a nice solid line. If you press too hard, you can end up with a line that is darker on the edge and lighter down the middle. They usually stay on really well, with a weird caveat. It does not melt or smear, but it does roll up like dry erase ink. It is truly waterproof and (surprisingly) even resistant to oil cleansers, at first. You can rub and rub at it with an oil cleanser or eye makeup remover and it won't budge at first, and then suddenly comes off in one piece. I found it to work very much like that on my eyes too; most of the time it stays put really well, but when it doesn't, it will just vanish suddenly in one section. It doesn't smear or drip. This also happens sometimes if you go over the same section more than once with the brush, as if the color picks up the previous bit and takes it away with it. But, that doesn't happen all that often. I bought black and both browns (Rustic and Henna) to compare them. Black is as expected. The two browns are very much alike when you put them; the caps indicate that Rustic is a warmer, lighter shade than Henna, and that is true to some extent, but they go on and dry down almost identical. They're just a little lighter and warmer/redder than the brown Lasting Drama Gel in the little glass jar, but they blend well enough that they can be used together.

This stuff is great. The felt tip makes it so easy to apply, it doesn't flake or smear, and it doesn't dry sticky like some others I've tried. I have it in brown and black and it's all I use.

So I'm getting used to using the applicator whcih feels felt tip-y. It is helpful to make precise lines. I did my makeup today around 11 am and now it's 8 PM and it stayed on all day through light rain, oily eye lids, and oily skin. It smudged a little bit but it was easy to fix. The eyeliner stayed on till I washed it off! I've touched the eyeliner and it doesn't really move. I avoid touching my eyes much anyway so this wasn't a problem. It doesn't say water proof but I wore it through light rain and nothing really happened. Also my friends told me my make up looked nice today. Combination of things such as trying new makeup like the Maybelline oil free setting powder and using a pencil eye liner to do my waterline. **UPDATE*** 3/21/20 Hey divas I have finally tested this eyeliner long enough to give it a full review!!! So this eyeliner actually flakes off from teary eyes. I'm starting to notice the eyeliner flaking off when my tears touched it from the strong wind by the river. I was embarrassed cause I didnt know it looked flaky until after I came home. This doesnt really last that long but it out performed loreal lineur intense black noir, and essence super fine water proof felt tip liner. So still on the hunt for the best drugstore liner!! I might give into buying higher end liquid eyeliners if that means they stay put through water, oily skin, and be smudge and transfer proof. This is my personal experience with this liner. Everybody has different skin so maybe it didnt work for me but I might work for you.
