1st off I am a makeup snob who typically buys luxury brands, but will often grab something on impulse in the drugstore. So I have a good range of knowledge of both the cheap and expensive mascaras. Well the joke is on me because this one works better than the $40 brand I was using. It goes on well, it layers effectively and it separates and lengthens lashes perfectly. It doesn't smudge, but comes off quickly with cleanser and water or a makeup wipe. It has a very gentle and bendy wand which I believe contributes to its success over the stiffer ones. It's just OK. It's no better than the Maybelline that comes in that pink bottle. They made it sound like you would get absolutely amazing longer fuller lashes (like fake lashes). But you just get regular fuller lashes as you would with any mascara. I tried multiple coats but the lashes stick together so you have like 5 thick lashes! The part of the wand that holds the mascara is weird. It's annoyingly soft and way to flexible. It's like a noodle. Not really but it's the only thing I can think of to show it's not sturdy. I don't really recommend it for longer fuller lashes. If you're looking for a regular mascara, I guess this is OK, but it doesn't deliver on its promises and I can't justify the higher price. ... show more

I absolutely love this mascara and have been using it for well over a year now. I have ordered many times through Amazon since it's generally cheaper than at most stores I can purchase it from. I ordered a couple of them a week ago and it took longer than expected, which was strange in and of itself. When they did finally arrive, they came in very different packaging than I'd ever seen. I thought "Well maybe they have a bulk variety they sell for salons or something." The label said it was from Turkey, so I just figured it was packaged for that country. When I took the wand out of the tube, it was noticeably different. The brush was wider and more rigid than all the others I've gotten. Plus, it didn't have that somewhat shiny appearance like the others. After I started applying it, I realized there was no way it was the same product and did not apply smoothly and easily like the real stuff. It also didn't have the shiny-ness that the real kind had. I usually use a wipe and q-tips to remove excess from my lids and it did not wipe off easily and smeared all over my lids. I have tried a lot a lot !!! Of mascaras. My lashes are not long and thick. Other mascaras I’ve tried didn’t do much and was clumpy and didn’t separate my lashes. But this mascara is a game changer!!!! It makes my lashes long and thicker , doesn’t clump. My lashes look amazing!!! Before trying these I was debating on getting lash extensions. I even bought false eyelashes. Way to much trouble. I know there are so many to choose from. I did my research and trial and error. Don’t hesitate, don’t waste hours researching.
