I turned the topper over and was able to acquire a degree more support than I got when I initially placed it on the mattress. Apparently, there is a 'softer' side and the other is a tad, though very slight but enough to notice, firmer side. So, I came back to UPDATE my rating as it's deserving of a more accurate rating. 2" is 2" inches...not a bad mattress topper, but it's really not as firm as I expected. Given that, in general, mattress toppers are not cheap and they vary greatly on quality and firmness, this isn't too bad. Still, because it was described as 'firm memory foam...' I did expect a little more support than I'm getting. It slept a little warmer as well, requiring less covers on chilly nights. Most people I know who use this type of addition on their beds select a 3-4 inch topper and are completely satisfied. Others who have the smaller ones, it's mixed: some are happy, others not so. For now, I'm just OK with this. But, I don't feel it'll give me the support I was looking for. Not sure I would recommend this.

This came folded in half and rolled. It was easy to unfold and place on my mattress. It was very flat when I first took it out but poofed up quickly. I let it sit on the bed for an hour before I put the sheets on. It did have a new smell, but it was not overwhelming or over chemically. As far as sleeping on it, it was not as firm as I had hoped, but it did give my sunken in mattress a little more oomph that I think will help it limp along a few more years. It was comfy and I slept well. I also like that when we go camping, I can just wrap it up along with our blankets and pillows and throw it in the back of the truck or rv. It really did help me to sleep cooler as I usually wake up dripping in sweat. I felt quite comfortable on this mattress.

It’s not as thick as some others you can get but it’s perfect! It adds the perfect amount of cushion without adding height to your bed. It makes our bed much more comfortable as it’s getting old and we just don’t have the money to replace it yet, this was perfect to add extra comfort without spending a ton. I have major back issues when sleeping but this has helped it a lot! I’m so glad we got this!

Claimed as ‘firm’ but nothing special than a soft sponge that has no firmness in it. Now have to spending time and effort repack this thing for return. Save yourself a headache.

Been looking for a topper for our king sized bed mattress. We like the mattress, but wanted a bit more padding on the top as our mattress is near 6 years old at this point. We knew this wasn't terribly thick, but we figured we'd give it a shot. We're still not sure how we feel about it. First thing I noticed is that this thing is oversized. Hangs off lengthwise and width by around 4" each direction. Not a huge deal, but it definitely makes for a harder fit into a standard fitted sheet. They also off-gas REALLY bad the first few days. Smell was so bad I thought about sleeping on the couch. If you have enough room to lay the topper out for a few days, your nose will thank you. They say CertiPUR-US certified, but I admit to questioning that with as strong as it smells. Did they add to the comfort? This is where we're honestly torn. I feel like I'm sleeping deeper, but I also notice that my hips have been achy the past couple days - pressure ache, not joint ache. I can't say definitively if the topper is causing it unless I pull it back off the bed for a week, but it's possible that this is more firm than I thought it was. It does feel pretty cool to sleep on. I don't feel like I'm overheating a lot, which I've had with some toppers. We'll see in the summer. In a nutshell, we like it, but don't love it and I'm still not sure how I'd rate the comfort. If I feel like it deserves a higher or lower rating, I'll update.
