Very soft very comfortable but I just recieved this item and I’m less than a week I’ve had 6 buttons come off of one side of this mattress it is a bit lumpy and uneven in some spots but with the buttons falling off I am able to adjust the foam around to plump back to normal size in low areasvery thick overall though does feel thicker in some parts than others but overall very comfortable and it is slightly larger than my futon frame but still works very well, the only issue I’ve had so far is that it makes the frame hard to adjust form bed to couch and vise-versa overall pleased with purchase, could use a little lower of a price tag considering the quality but still satisfied and hopefully will be used for a fair amount of time

I recently purchased the MAXYOYO 8" Futon Mattress in queen size, and I am absolutely loving it! This mattress is not only beautiful with its sleek black velvet finish, but it's also impressively large and provides incredible comfort. The extra-thick design and shredded foam filling make it perfect for lounging or overnight guests. I’ve used it on the floor as a bed alternative, and it has offered excellent support, making it easy to get a good night's sleep. It feels cozy and plush, and the quality is evident. One thing to note is that while the mattress is fantastic, the frame is not included, so I had to find a suitable platform for it. However, this is a minor detail considering how well it works as a standalone mattress. I'm torn writing this review because this is an absolutely gorgeous futon mattress. The fabric is soft and thick, the mattress is thick as well (I measured it at over 9 inches instead of the 8" listed), and everything about it seems so comfy and high quality ... except for the buttons. The buttons seemed a little precarious to begin with, but then you throw a bunch of small kids into the mix and they are all bound to fall off. So far, about half the buttons have already come off, which has completely changed the shape of the entire mattress. Apparently the buttons were holding everything in. Without them, it's all over the place and lumpy. I'm so sad. At first I was trying to fix the buttons, but I can't keep up. So... if you don't have kids who are going to jump on this beautiful mattress, I say go for it. But if you've got little ones, maybe save this purchase for when they can be a bit more responsible with your nice things.

We got this to use for a futon project we have for our porch. We build a wooden zipper style frame so it could be a bench and pull out to a bed, and this mattress is perfect for that. Would definitely be perfect for a traditional futon as well. It's so comfortable and a great price for what it's worth!
