My toddler boys love playing with this Maxtronic remote control car. It’s nice that the controls are simple enough for them to get the hang of and this is extremely durable for rough toddler play. Typically, electronic toys don't last long with how rough my boys can be, but this is holding up well. I like that it can do all kinds of stunts so it doesn't end up flipped over or stuck in a corner or launched off of something and it just flips back over and keeps going. The USB charging is also a nice feature. I don't have to keep up with little battery packs and disassemble the car to remove the batteries when needing to charge it. I just plug it in at night like I would any of our other electronics. The charge seems to last about 30-40 minutes as advertised. We haven't tested this in water yet, so I cant speak for it’s waterproof design. Overall, this is a really fun little remote control car that is suitable for even younger toddlers. My three kids are all really enjoying this toy. They range in age from 5 to 8 and can all easily operate this remote control vehicle. They love how quickly it moves, rolls, and flips over. The vehicle is rechargeable which in my opinion is fantastic and the remote requires two AA batteries (not included). For the most part, this vehicle is durable, however after one particularly rough ride, one of the LED light on the side popped out. I was able to push it back into place, but, had to instruct my kids to stop driving it off the furniture! ... show more

This car runs well and fast. I can usually re-flip when it flips over. The car does seem to overturn at times. The car is amphibious in and out of the water. This car is a good purchase for the price and seems quite durable.

This is a nice RC for younger kids, maybe seniors too. It's nice that you don't have to remove the battery to charge, it also limits you to one run then recharge; it does drive a lot one one charge though. The roll cage, while driving on a flat surface, will sometimes flip/roll over when you change directions quickly. The overall controllability is pretty good; there is no gentle turning, its a sharp turn. The rubber tread on the wheels does give it good traction. **Update** So i finally got a good water test and afterwards changed my rating from 4 to 5 stars. My brother & Dad had a pair of sailboats that they were running and suggested we try out "Baby Blue", this small car to see just how Amphibious it was. I was skeptical but how long it would last & how good it would be. Boy was i wrong, this thing went like crazy. I will say at full speed that 1)it isn't that quick in the water & 2)it always looks like the rear end is sinking. But a quick reverse shows that it's fine. And as far as the speed, well it was still quite maneuverable. And Everybody that day had a try of this little Blue car, even some that said No at first, well they enjoyed it to. The 6 or so 30 somethings had the most fun, but even my Dad at 85 thought it was a lot of fun. Oh, and after 20-25 minutes we pulled it from the water as we were afraid that Full Speed running would kill the battery. But nope, it ran for 10+ more and still had charge left when put away. For a no frills cute little car, this thing did really really well. And yeah, in the circle in the picture, that's it, probably 30 feet from shore. ... show more

This purple car is perfect for little hands. The wheels are nice and big and easy to handle. It works very well with the remote. The car itself is chargeable, but the remote does use batteries I took one star away because the remote should have been chargeable as well, but it is a great toy. This remote control car is rated for a three year old but my nephew just turned two and he plays with it constantly. His new favorite toy. His mom loves that she doesn’t have to buy batteries for it. She keeps it charging overnight and it’s more than ready to go the next day.
