The tree is just as described in the listing, in the photos, and in people's reviews. I did get concerned when I saw some people complain that the lights didn't work, but I think I know why that happened. I initially put the batteries in first without reading the instruction manual, and the lights didn't work. I had a hunch and decided to give the manual a try before starting a return. And sure enough, it says in the manual to "CLEAN THE BATTERY CONTACTS" before you insert the batteries. I used some rubbing alcohol on a tissue to wipe down the battery contacts, and sure enough I saw tons of glitter come off. A lot of glitter will interfere with the batteries, so that's likely why it didn't work at first. So if you order this, please make sure to read the manual first! ... show more

Love this little tree, easy to assemble and I love how you can bend the branches to your liking. My only complaint is the glitter falls off pretty easily on the tiny branches but nothing noticeable. Highly recommend!

So, I originally bought the Purple version of this with the bats. I got it all set up and in place, and I loved it! In the end I decided to pick up this second one, and OMG I love this one too! I did read the reviews for this from others. So I knew that some of the glitter might come off when I was "shaping" the tree, which was no big deal it was very little that I saw, and it did not detract from it at all. It is super easy to shape, and get the branches into position just be gentle with it as there is wires runing through it all with the lights. The timer works perfectly! I have mine all set up to right now turn on for the 6 hours, in the evenings so that I can have and see that glow without actually having to get up and turn them on or remember to turn them off. I am loving this features so much as most lights I am always forgetting to turn on. ADDED BONUS: So either I missed seeing this information when I read the description, but both of my trees came with these little vinyl figures. No more than an inch tall, but they are adorable, and I have added them into my Halloween Decorations. They were perfect! For anyone cusious about space, I have one of these on a short bookcase, and it easily fits on top of it, I had the other on top of my mantle, but then added it to the top of my entertainment center to being the decorations into another room, and it fits on there just perfectly. I would highly recomend this for anyone who has been looking into getting one. It is worth it. ... show more

I adore this spooky season tree! Love the bat ornaments & the scary little figurines that came with it - bonus! I loaded this baby up with Nightmare Before Xmas Jack skull ornaments, & used plastic skeleton bead necklaces as garland. I really like the timer function. I gave only 4 stars, because, well,…glitter. (After the initial glitter bomb, it really didn’t shed any more.) Also, I did adjust an ornament on the tree while listening to a ghost podcast, & the tree lit up…just sayin’… ... show more
