I'd previously bought another five-star rated wireless lavalier, and it sounded like I'd buried it under my shirt when I spoke into it. Absolutely NO dynamic range --- particularly on the high end. This one is not only significantly better than my previous purchase, it's even better than the wired lavalier I'd used as my baseline for testing quality. In fact, it's a lot better than my wired mic. I had a hunch it was going to be good just from the quality of the packaging and the weight of the mic itself --- which told me they hadn't skimped on components. As for setup? Literally just plug the base into your phone, press the power button at the bottom of the mic --- and it's ready to go. Oh, and I also love the fact that this mic is SMALL! Seems like all the other wireless lavaliers in that price range are so obtrusive and distracting. Great purchase, couldn't be happier --- And no, I was NOT paid to write this review! ... show more

The MAXTOP SonicSync Pro wireless microphone may be a good choice for you to consider! Along with two microphone/transmitters and the multi-function receiver, MAXTOP provides extra USB charging cables, a 3.5 mm male to female extension cord (to connect the receiver to inputs) and an earphone for monitoring what you're recording! The Multi-Function Receiver: Featuring input connectors for Apple(R), Android(R) and 3.5 mm inputs, this receiver can connect to just about any phone or recording device, making it an easy choice, especially if you're working with multiple devices. The plug and play nature of the receiver makes it unnecessary to install a special app or other software; You don't need a proprietary app. The receiver is auto-detected and is ready to use quickly. Use the wider Lightning(R) plug for Apple(R) devices, the type-c USB plug for your Android(R) device, and the 3.5mm plug for cameras, computers or other devices that have a mic input. Turn on one or more of the microphones to be instantly ready. A feature that stood out for me is the pass-through charging capability. You can plug your receiver into an exterior power source using the included USB cable (like a battery bank or charger) while it is connected to your phone, and your phone will charge while you're using the receiver. This allows your phone to be charged while you're recording or streaming - perfect for those inevitable times when you're on a live stream and your phone starts chirping with a low battery! The Microphone Transmitters: The wireless mics feature a wind sponge, indicator light to let you know it's paired with the receiver, USB-C charging port, a sturdy microphone clip and power button. The sound quality is good considering the price point of this system. They perform as well, in my opinion, as most builtin phone microphones, at least for general uses. This is a good choice for beginners creating content, or for general phone calls. Simply connect the receiver to the device you're using to stream or record, then turn on the microphone(s) and the lights will turn solid and you're ready! The smart noise-cancellation is adequate for general purposes and allows the worst background noise to be minimized. For this price range, it's good, but for best performance, the mics are more likely to meet expectations in a quiet environment. Batteries: From a full charge, a single microphone was able to maintain good connection and quality for a period of 52 minutes, both mics turned on together lasted 40 minutes. Range: I was able to maintain good connection and quality sound at a range of 50 feet, with one wall between the mic and the receiver. Latency increased beyond that range (creates a slight delay), and the signal dropped off at about 100 feet. Line of sight range is about 125 feet with no discernible delay. It's worth noting, I have power lines nearby, and I tested in a metal building. Conclusion: Highly recommended! Overall, for this price range, the MAXTOP SonicSync Pro is a well-designed wireless mic setup, allowing connection to most phone types as well as standard mic inputs. The pass-through charging on the receiver and the good sound makes this an excellent choice for budget-minded shoppers, beginners creating content, and for general phone call use. ... show more
