    • Good for pipes, not bolts
The description is for a self-adjusting pipe wrench and for that it is suitable. Some of these others also tout ability to quickly use on bolts/nuts and this item has a picture for this. But due to how the jaws for this tool are constructed where they are not a consistent width (it narrows in the center) it can be difficult to get a proper seating against a flush fitting nut. So really not effective for this usage. If that is your intent, move on to another item. Also this has the ability to adjust the handle position. It has a pivot to adjust. This seems like a good idea, but it also is loose ( has play side to side ). This doesn't feel comfortable, but when you put pressure on the handle it is fine. So really just an annoyance, but was unexpected. Believe I will keep this in the tool box for pipes but will search for another item for nuts/bolts. Live and learn. ... show more

Was able to easily unscrew a cap from oil tank with the leverage that this 18” long wrench provided. Was unable to remove it with shorter wrenches.
