  • Great beds, but…
Color: White Size: Twin Pattern Name: Bed Frame
We purchased two of these and received them Monday morning. One of the boxes clearly was damage and had about a half a roll of tape used to fix it. But when we opened it up, everything seem to be intact. As we started putting the headboard together, we quickly realized we were missing the two end supports for the headboard. I opened up the box for the second bed and all the parts were in there so I just scavenged The parts to finish the one bed from that box. I emailed the manufacturer to obtain a replacement for the missing parts so we shall see how long that takes. but the beds themselves are very nice, sturdy, and very easy to put together. Should get many years of use from them. ... show more

  • Only one day in, but loving it.
Color: White Size: Full Pattern Name: Bed Frame
DISCLAIMER - I've only had the product for one night. I'll update if opinion changes. Ordered the full bed with twin trundle to transition grandson from toddler bed and I love it. Despite two issues with assembly instructions (explained below), it was incredibly easy to put together. I'm a woman in my 50s and did it by myself with the supplied hex wrenches and a power screwdriver. Bed and trundle were boxed and shipped separately (trundle arrive a day before bed), and there were no scratches, cracks, breaks or any other type of damage. I like that the heads of the bolts in the sides of the headboard and footboard are painted white so they don't show as much. It's an attractive piece of furniture, and the white is a true, pure white. TRUNDLE ASSEMBLY - this couldn't have been technically easier. Four frame sections, wheels and slats. However, there is an error in the instructions. They specifically state that both end slats must be flush with the end of the frame and THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE if you want to attach those two boards to the frame. Placing them flush means the wood screw used to hold them in place doesn't go into the frame, but instead enters a gap along the railing - so it holds on to nothing. I assumed I'd done something wrong because they went out of their way to print an image showing the right/wrong way to place these two boards, but it wasn't me. My initial thought was to contact the manufacturer, but I only had the trundle (no the bed), and those instructions gave no contact information, nor could I find anything on the website. After LOTS of head-scratching, re-reading instructions, a few curse words and scrolling through reviews, I finally found another purchaser that mentioned the exact same thing. She said she contacted the manufacturer and was told that the instructions were wrong, would be corrected, and that it would not compromise the safety of the bed if you moved the slats inward some so that they could be attached. My resolution was to start with attaching the middle slat (unlike instructed), then pulling each subsequent board taught and work my way out to the ends. This ensured the slack was only in the two outer boards. This issue added an extra 45 minutes to my labor because I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong, but the assembly was still easy for one person. BED ASSEMBLY - again, super easy, just with a lot more parts. There was an error here too, but I didn't spend as much time on it. The two brackets attached to the mattress frame that "hook" into the headboard and footboard can't be positioned the same as the image in the instructions show. Regardless, as long as the hooks are facing down, it should be good, and this is what I went with. I assembled the bed in about an hour. I haven't purchased a mattress for the trundle yet, so I can't speak as to the size needed. I like that it can be put on the left or right side of bed, and even on a mid-height carpet it rolls easily. I've seen a lot of comments about the sturdiness of these beds. My grandson is young, so there won't be a lot of weight put on it, but if it doesn't hold up for whatever reason, I'll come back and update review. Overall, super please with the product and would recommend. Just be forewarned about the assembly instructions to save yourself some time! ... show more

  • Bed Good! Instructions Bad!
Color: Espresso Size: Twin Pattern Name: Bed Frame
Ordered this twin bed w/ trundle for a small bedroom. Here is a breakdown of my thoughts... EDIT in MAR 2021: So I tested positive for COVID-19. I did not want my wife to get infected, so I moved into this bedroom (which doubles as my work-from home-office) for 2 weeks. I have to say, this bed is very comfortable! I slept very well during the time that I was in there. And the wife did not get the 'Rona, so all good! ORIGINAL REVIEW: Quality of material: 4.5/5 stars - It's not hardwood, but I knew that when I purchased it. All the pieces were in good shape except for one small ding on the underside of one board. It's small and not going to be visible, so no big deal. We like the finish. It's a good color to match how we are going to finish the room. Sturdiness: 5/5 stars - I realized when putting this bed together that it is meant to stay together once assembled. For example: The sideboards are bolted into the headboard, not set down in a slot. Also, each slat the mattress sits on is secured with a screw at each end. This also applies to the center bar running the length of the bed. It will require some time to take apart if/when we move it out of the room. On the other hand, there is no rattle, and it feels quite solid to an adult average-sized male. I am happy to sacrifice some portability for sturdiness. Aesthetics: 4.5/5 stars - As I mentioned, we like the finish. I may end up staining the slats to match the rest of the finished wood. It will be less noticeable in the corners. Of course, putting bedding on will help, but I may do it anyway. If I do, I will update. Also, the visible part of the trundle bed when pushed in looks good in my opinion because it blends in well. Good design on that. Incidentally, the mattress in the picture is a Linenspa 8 Inch Memory Foam and Innerspring Hybrid-Mattress . The max mattress thickness for the trundle bed is 8", and I can tell you it just barely glides underneath. We also got the 10" version of the same thing for the top since it will get used more. Assembly & Instructions: 2/5 stars - Ok, the assembly itself is not too hard once you figure out the directions. But that is where the problem lies. The instructions suck. There are NO written steps, only pictures. And it is very difficult to determine which way some boards should face in relation to other pieces. Particularly when it come to the headboard and footboard. Also, the hardware diagram (with item #s) are not to scale, which would be ok IF the packaging for the hardware was labeled. Unfortunately, it is not. It's just a bunch of different-sized bolts, ends, screws, etc dumped into 2 different bags. I had to spend some time figuring out which screw was which before I got started. And even then, I had to be careful as I went along to make sure I was using the correct hardware for different steps. NOTE: The instructions call for using a screwdriver by hand. I used a cordless drill and was careful not to over-torque or over-tighten the screws. This sped up the process significantly. Conclusion: Despite the bad instructions, I like this bed/trundle combo. I would get it again if needed. As time goes on, I will updated this review to describe wear & tear if I feel it's necessary. 4/5 Stars. ... show more

  • AMAZING bed!
Color: White Size: Twin Pattern Name: Bed Frame
Love this bed so much! So happy we went with this one - skipping a toddler bed all together! It’s so sturdy and a piece of furniture that will last a long time! Also extremely functional when we have family staying with us - to have the trundle! We had one minor issue with one of the pieces of wood being split upon arrival- but the customer service team was AMAZING! It was stress free and easy - they just mailed me a new piece within a week! Totally would recommend this bed to anyone and everyone! ... show more
