We needed a twin bunk room for our camp that would also be sturdy enough for adults to sleep on. It is exactly what it needs to be for the right price. The wood is quality enough - some boards had weird stain marks but overall it was even and the one board that had the wood slightly damaged I could just put towards the wall and no one will see it. It does not affect function. And for the price it was not worth emailing the company. We haven't used it yet, but the installation was the easiest I've done. I separated the hardware first to make sure I had everything before I started - it was all there and made building easier. All holes were where they should be. I do a lot of furniture I have to build for myself and others - I've used Home Depot brand and ikea, also what ever brands wayfair uses. This was just as easy as all of those. I did it myself with no help. I wasn't in a rush because I am waiting on mattresses, but if it took me 2 hours going super slow that would be tops. I never review items and was concerned with some of reviews I read, but this was great purchase!

This bunk bed is perfect for my needs. The bottom bed is basically floor level, keeping my wiggling toddler safe from high falls. It is lower clearance, so as an adult sitting upright on the bottom bunk is impossible without being scrunched over or hitting your head. Assembly wasn't terrible, I was able to put it together by myself in 3ish hours. The instructions aren't great as they have little to no words, only pictures. The bag of hardware is only separated into 3 bags and the screws are not easily distinguished. One of my boards did not have a pilot hole completely cut through and I had to chip it away. That was probably the most difficult part of assembly. Overall, I would buy this bunk again.

This has been perfect for my five year old and three year old. It took my husband about 4 1/2 hours to put it together. Nice solid construction. The kids love it. We’re really happy with the purchase.

We needed a shorter bunk bed to put in our basement bunk room, but didn’t want something that was meant for toddlers or looked babyish. This bunk bed is so cute and the metal support beams make it super sturdy. My husband put it together by himself in just a few hours. There are also multiple places to put the ladder so it works for a lot of different spaces. Our kids have been sleeping on them almost every night this summer! Definitely recommend.

Quality bunkbed for the price point. Previous bunkbed set was also M&L as a toddler bunk. However multiple pieces came in damaged and I will now need them replaced. Not really thrilled with this experience. Easy to assemble and modern design.

We’re happy with our purchase! It’s pretty sturdy and the construction is decent. I was a little weary of the aluminum cross member support underneath only being supported one each side by 4 small screws but it looks like it’s merely supplemental to the wooden cross slats which are doing most of the work. Everything has held up fine after a few months of abuse from our 3 and 4 year olds. The top sections are made from particle board and arrived damaged on an interior corner which Amazon helped us out with but other than that this bunk is perfect size and we like that it’s not too high off the ground. We flipped it around so the long end opening is up against the wall (this helped us parents sleep at night…pun intended). For the ladder, we mounted it with screws on the inside because our boys kept dismounting it…fun times. Be sure to pay close attention to the instructions.

It's a beautiful bed, and pretty sturdy. However, the white rail panel pieces have really sharp edges. My kid has already hurt himself on the edge x3 in the past week of having the bed while sleeping... it cuts! It's a shame that the edges would be so unfriendly to bodies laying against it, especially for kids. For the price it's very unfortunate that we'll have to add a rubber edge protector to keep their sweet faces from scraping against it. Additionally, the white panels arrived damaged, awaiting replacement panels for the company. UPDATE: I received the replacement panels after a few weeks, and yet another piece arrived damaged (on a top and very visible corner).
