  • This is a really nice piece of furniture
Color: White Size: Twin/Twin Bunk Bed
This is a really nice piece of furniture. Very well put together and sturdy. I am so happy that I went with this bed as opposed to the less expensive model by another manufacturer. I know that when my grandchildren sleep in this bed they will be safe. One thing though .... I have deep mattresses. These mattresses do not allow for much space between the top and bottom bunk. If you buy and I recommend that you do - be cautious of what mattress you will be using. For me since the bed will not be used daily it was not an issue. ... show more

Good solid beds! Easy to put together! Needs two people to put them on top of one another. Not too heavy. I don't have a photo of the finished product. This was half way through...

  • Their good
Color: Walnut Size: Twin/Twin Bunk Bed
Got bunk bed 3/2025. The boxes delivered to me were super heavy. The wood seems to be heavy duty. Everything was labeled. There was a bit of confusion when building them. It took us half day to finish this but could be because I was also super pregnant. The beds were built as said but the beds move way too much. Specially when someone tosses and turns on the top bunk. That can be very annoying. ... show more

  • LOVE!!!
Color: White Size: Twin/Full Bunk Bed
My girls love this bunkbed! It’s our second Max and Lily bed and I love the products! I was able to put this together in about 4 hours with help from my 9 and 12 year old. The hardest part was lifting the twin bed on top of the full. Instructions were a bit tricky since there is no words, but we figured them out. Very sturdy, no wobbling. The box is super heavy so we opened it downstairs and carried the pieces up one at a time. All the pieces were easy to carry up. I definitely recommend! ... show more

  • Customer service at Max and Lily is AWFUL!!!
Color: White Size: Twin/Twin Bunk Bed
If you purchase this bunk bed be ready to spend about 5-6 hours putting it together. There are 25 steps and each will involve many parts and pieces. After spending the 6 hours constructing the bed, I realized I made a mistake on one step of the process and needed one replacement part. The part is about 2x2 inch piece of wood that is 18 inches long. It is insignificant at best. To get the new part I had to call their number and speak to a customer service rep that told me to send a picture of the part, which I did. After waiting about a week, I received an email back saying I had to jump through more hoops and send the amazon invoice and the part number from the instructions, luckily I had not thrown the out. After doing that, I then was told I was being passed to a third department that reach out to me to let me know how much I have to pay to get the replacement part because it was my fault I put the screw in the wrong place. Honestly, I would say either pay someone to put the bed together or buy a different bed. Personally I will never buy anything from this company again! ... show more

  • Beautiful, sturdy, recommend different order of assembly
Color: White Size: Twin/Twin Bunk Bed
A friend and I assembled the Max and Lily double bunk and two triple bunks, all of which are identical in their part numbers and assembly process. The double bunk was top quality and easy to assemble, but the triples, although clearly the same in their parts and assembly, were not nearly the same quality, so beware the newer version of the double bunk may not be as high quality as the one I received. The directions are easy to follow if you pay close attention to detail. However, we assembled them in a different order so that we weren't trying to lift a completed bed into the air while fitting the legs onto the metal rods that connect it to the lower bunk. Instead, we assembled the top bunk in its place, on top of the lower bunk. We started by assembling all of the headboards/footboards. Each bunk is slightly different, so be sure to keep the pairs together. Then we connected the bottom bunk head and foot boards with the 2 long boards that hold the slats. We pushed the bolts in all the way to help hold up the long boards, then pulled the bolts out one at a time to screw them into the nut, using an impact driver. We fully tightened every bolt at each step. We stopped there, skipped some pages, and inserted the 5" metal rods into the tops of the legs, and put the top bunk's head and foot boards on those metal rods, on top of the bottom bunk. Then we attached both back guard rails at the same time by first hammering the dowels into the head/footboards with a rubber mallet and then guiding the holes in the ends of the boards onto the dowels sticking out. Then we attached the boards that hold up the slats, again pushing in all of the bolts to help hold it in place while we removed one at a time to screw the bolt into the nut. Then we attached the steel bar on the top bunk. Then the slats. Then the front guard rails. And finally the ladder. The double bunk took us 3.5 hours because we took our time to fully understand the directions and to sort all of the nuts and bolts into different bowls. I highly recommend using an impact driver--you can see in the pictures how tight we got the bolts. The beds are sturdy and beautiful. I bought 6' foam pipe covers and cut them in half lengthwise and duct taped them to the underside of the steel bar to keep the children from bumping their heads. I paid more for the Max and Lily bunk mattresses and glad I did--they are high quality and a perfect fit. Can't wait for my grandkids to come visit! ... show more
