  • Max and Lily Bunk Beds
Style: Twin/Full Color: Natural
We purchased this Max and Lily bunk bed and were very impressed with the quality and it is made of all wood. The hardware was more than adequate to accommodate the bed. The instructions were lacking but not insurmountable. Overall we would recommend this bed it took us 3 hours to put together. We still have drawers to install as well. The color was lighter than we expected but are still happy with the bed. Can’t wait for the grandkids to try it out. ... show more

  • Sturdy and nice looking
Arrived in three boxes. The heaviest box contained the hardware, bed slats, ladder, and the majority of the frame. A lighter but longer box contained the length-wise pieces. And the third box contained the drawer. Assembly was fairly straightforward. All that was needed was a screwdriver and the provided hex wrenches. The instructions were pictures only but were relatively easy to follow. Pieces were conveniently labeled with numbers to simplify the process. I was able to complete all steps by myself except for the part where the upper bunk was lifted on top of the lower. The most difficult part was aligning the decorative slats in the head and foot boards. I also had to re-do one step since I had the screw holes on the headboard facing the wrong way. If you keep in mind that small holes face inward; recessed holes face outwards, you'll have no problems. If you intend on using foam mattresses, you'll need to buy some 1/4" plywood (4ft x 74") to lay on top the slats, which are spaced 12" apart with 9.5" gaps. The bed is made entirely of wood except for two metal support bars that run lengthwise underneath the mattress slats. Overall, the bed is sturdy and quiet. No creaks and minimal movement felt on the bottom bunk when someone is moving on the top. ... show more

  • A bunk bed even adults can enjoy
Style: Full/Full Color: Natural
This bunk bed is very sturdy and made of real wood. Both beds can accommodate up to 400 pounds. I shopped for many months looking for the “right” bunks for my boys and this one came out the winner. We opted for the drawers instead of the trundle and got full over full. The company says no bunkie boards are needed. That is true, but we have a memory foam mattress on the top and feel it might wear funky without one. Other than that, they are good looking bunks that are withstanding two rambunctious boys and we can lie down with them to read at night. ... show more

  • Good bed for ok price. Would buy again!
Style: Full/Full Color: Natural
I gave it 4 stars... it took my husband a solid 6 or 7 hours to put together... (minus the drawers which he put together a few days later) he was able to put most of it together by himself minus needing my help a few times (like putting one on top of the other...etc) it’s our first bunk bed purchase... my husband said the directions were kinda difficult to read/understand and the pictures in them were hard to figure out... but he made do... as far as sturdiness... I feel it’s sturdy-ish... but it makes me nervous going on top bunk... my 10 year old sleeps up there and my 3 year old will climb up there as well... the stairs are a little tricky and hurt my feet when I get up there to make the bed... and the last step is kinda tall for my 3 year old and he’s a tall 3 year old for his age... also when I lay with my 3 year old in the bottom bunk it shakes the whole bunk bed when my older child moves/rolls around in the top bunk... kinda makes me nervous at times! As far as value for the money... if I had more money I would’ve bought one that was sturdier with stairs or something but I liked the fact that this one can break down into 2 full sized beds later on... (which is why I got full over full instead of twin over full)... overall I’d probably buy this bed again... we’ve only had it set up about 2 or 3 weeks now but it’s worked out pretty good for us! The bed came in great shape no damage from delivery.. came in 3 boxes! It my sons love it! ... show more

Great wood and sturdy. Great value for the purchase. Window shopped several stores prior to purchase and the quality of this frame was the best. I went back and purchased another product from this seller.

  • Update: Bunk Bed Wobbles/Shakes Excessively
Style: Twin/Full Color: Natural
Purchased this bed for my 8 year old daughter who only weighs 65 lbs. Entire bed shakes with the slightest of movements. My daughter says that it feels like the bed is going to fall apart. Not an assembly issue as the person who put the bed together is in construction and has built homes before. Tried to contact customer service twice but can’t get a response from the company. I had only asked if there was a way to reinforce the bed as I don’t know how I would even go about returning a fully assembled bunk bed. Huge disappointment, regret purchasing this bed. Update: Almost two years later after months of fighting with customer service to take the bed back (they refused but sent me new parts, which didn’t help at all), this bed is a complete nightmare. I’ve tightened the screws several times but the bed still shakes tremendously and the screws loosen even faster now. Worst purchase ever, I’m getting ready to buy my daughter a new bed. Didn’t even make it 2 years and over $1000 down the drain. This company should be ashamed of itself. ... show more

  • Fast delivery. Great quality.
Amazingly fast shipping. Told it would arrive on Tuesday but arrived the Thursday before. Easy to assemble. Even by myself with the help of a 3 year old. I assembled the top bunk in place on the bottom bunk which the directions don't say to do. But I didnt have the space. Went together great. Very sturdy. The kids love it. Strongly recommend. Large high quality bed frame. Perfect for growing kids who are 10 going on 20. ... show more

  • Nice buy
It’s was more than I expected after reading all these reviews..... oh boy!!! I feel like people do not realize what’s allowed on these kind of beds and what’s not!!! IF and only IF assembled correctly it’s sturdy and nice looking piece of furniture! There is one construction addition I feel like needed to be made is when you screw down wooden planks to the bed that hold the mattress, make sure you stretch it as far as you can (this way it fills all the space alongside and center it) and make sure you put in your screws using your common sense, since at some places if you put it in as they marked them to go (and mean only the angle) it may crack your plank.... just reevaluate: thickness of the board, the distance from all edges and aim for the center of it, you’ll be fine))) ... show more
