This grandmother put the bed frame together all by herself with minimal difficulty. It would have been super easy if I had a helper that day. Even an eight year old child would be a good helper to put it together. I bought this bed frame to replace one that my grandson broke when jumping on the bed. I could not bolt my beautiful wooden headboard and foot board to the steel frame because of the way the headboard and foot board were made, but I was delighted to find that I could use them because the new bed frame fit perfectly inside the old bedframe after I knocked out the broken supports on the bed rails. The steel frame is very solid and provides great support. My current mattress and box spring is much more comfortable on top of this bed frame than it was on the wooden slats of the old bed frame.

Likes: The bed assembled surprisingly easy. All parts & frame members were clearly identified & the assembly photo was easy to see. It didn't require a lot of instructions because it was designed so well for quick assembly. - The bed is very strong & quiet. No rattling of slats, etc. I plan to get a King version for our master suite as it is much better than the one we currently have. - The slat spacing is still TBD. I would have preferred closer spacing for the 6" mattress but so far it seems OK. I know our mattress is thinner than most. For a thicker mattress it shouldn't be an issue.

We received this yesterday. Putting it together was pretty easy. We had two people putting it together but could easily be done alone. We got the 18” high one which is great because we now can store totes under the bed. Seems to be very sturdy so far. *** My only advice is to measure the true 18 inches of this along with the depth of your mattress to make sure you can actually get into the bed. We have a 14 inch mattress so it makes it considerably high. We are both average height so it is ok just a bit high. Slept pretty comfortably, I have several ruptured disc in my back and had no stiffness or soreness after sleeping on it. Again I have only slept on this item once. So far so good!

I like all the room underneath, but my mattress got saggy in one area because the slats didn't give it enough support. Once I put a thin support underneath, the mattress reverted back to its original shape. The problem is that there is nothing to keep the board and the mattress from sliding. There needs to be a ledge of some kind that is deep enough to keep the mattress and the support in place. The slats are completely even with the top of the railing, so the mattress slides around all the time. The mattress and support need to sit inside instead of on top of the frame. I don't know if I am really explaining this right, or not. I'm sure that at least some people will understand what I am talking about. I am looking for another frame that will keep the mattress from moving. It needs to be at least a half-inch or inch deep.

works fine. was a little more work to put together then most others, but it is nice to have rounded front edges. I didn't test the full weight capacity. But normal use for 2 smaller adults is just fine.
