This was just a little difficult to put together, however, I’m almost 70, have a hard time getting up off the floor or kneeling and can’t see without my reading glasses (which I had to take on and off throughout the whole process to read the directions). I thought I followed the directions exactly and halfway through had to make an adjustment. Fortunately, I did not use wood glue. It is a great little unit though. I only gave four stars because there were some blemishes, scratches, etc. but not real easily detectable but I saw them as I was putting it together. Also, you need to take into account for any trim around your floor as the unit won’t fit flush against the wall. My husband had to come up with a 1/2 in. piece of wood to go behind the top where you screw it into the wall. Otherwise, fits in the area I needed it for and gives a little extra room for storage. Just one other downside. It has only 3 shelves. One more would be helpful. ... show more

It fits perfectly in a small space. The sturdiness is not what I would expect from any storage furniture. It is very pretty though and helps me store some items. I do not regret buying it, but I wish I had looked for more items before I purchased this one.

    • Take your time building it. Use some wood glue

The little wooden dowels are too small for the holes that are drilled into the particle wood. I actually used some of the plastic from the screw bags to wedge the dowels in for a tight fit. I suggest you use wood glue to put it together. I didn't in case I wasn't happy with the way it came out. But If you take your time to put it together and tighten everything. It's not bad.
