WOW!!! I purchased the shampoo/container set because the smell and presentation was gorgeous, but also because its cruelty and sulfate free. I purchased these at Walgreens but so many people check Amazon for reference before they buy. This is the BEST conditioner I have ever used in my life. I couldn't believe how well it detangled my hair it was like silk. The consistency is thick but a conditioner should be. This set has actually repaired my hair after one use, I have medium texture highlighted hair that was dry at the ends, this added some much needed moisture. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this product. I highly recommend using this if your hair is dry or damaged from coloring it. These products are sulfate, paraben and cruelty free which means no guilty conscious when purchasing these products. I can't believe how soft and silky it made my hair!!! not quite!! ...It detangles my hai somewhatr but not to the extent other conditioners have...good moisture and the smell is very nice but a little disappointed it doesn't detangle well but does leave my hair soft when it dries...i probably need to look into a leave in to give my detangling an extra push...i would buy this again but definitely not depending on it for detangling! ... show more

Using this and the matching shampoo does seem to leave the hair with more body than other products. I initially used it while staying with friends and these were in their guest shower. I liked them so much I snapped a pic of the label and tracked them down when I got home. And I am glad that I did. It is a bit thicker than other similar products. After literally years of searching, this conditioner (and the shampoo version) are the answer. I moved to a more humid place and found my hair was getting straw-like, coarse and tangly, even just the morning after washing it, every year from spring through fall. My first thought was more moisturizing treatments/masks/etc, but nothing helped. Finally, after several years, someone at a salon told me it could be a buildup issue from silicones. That was totally the case! It's oddly hard to find shampoo and conditioner that work well but don't have any silicones, parabens, etc. and are vegan. But once I switched over to this (and added a chelating shampoo every once in a while to strip buildup) my hair finally went back to normal! Plus, it smells incredible. Leave the bottle upside down in the shower because unless you have mighty muscles or prefer to shake that bottle like a an angry woman, it’s hard to get the thick conditioner out of the bottle. It’s thick like you’d expect a thick conditioner to be, but the bottle is very rigid. Because of the rigidity of the bottle, I’ve had to add a little water to the the conditioner (which I didn’t want to do; who knows if it breaks down the product having left water in there) just to get enough out during a shower to cover my long hair. Conditioner smells really nice and I have no issue with the conditioner itself. It’s moisturizing as any you’d find at your local drugstore (nothing extraordinary but good for the price) but it’s the bottle’s stiffness I dislike. It’s a pretty bottle, and if you peel the label off it may make a cute desk vase or something. Thick rigid plastic is also damaging to our environment unless we recycle. But here where I live, they don’t have enough recycling resources. Our recycling programs accept clear plastic only. So I will end up with two cute flower vases (shampoo and conditioner). ... show more
