I took way too long to make the decision to buy this mattress topper. I over researched, read all the reviews, then FINALLY decided to try it. It was a great buy!!! After opening the package I let the topper air out over night. Next, I took out on my patio and let it sit in the sun for hours to fluff up. (Even though it puffed up nicely after the first night, I wanted to be extra sure it was comfy). Also, it had no chemical scent at all. The first night I slept on the topper, my firm mattress felt better. I still wasn’t sure how it would hold up, and if it would make a big enough difference, so I waited to write this review. The topper has held its shape well, and any compression that happened seemed to make my mattress feel even more comfortable. This topper did make a difference in the way my body feels on my firm mattress. It relieves pressure points and makes the mattress feel softer. I do not use the straps to hold it steady. Instead I have a separate fitted sheet on top of the mattress topper and I have not had a problem with it moving. Oh, and when I first unpacked it, before I could even get it to my patio, my cat immediately jumped on it and took a long nap. Later, when it was on the bed, she positioned herself in the middle of the bed and napped again. She loves it, and chooses to sleep on it instead of on her very cushy bed!!!! I weigh about 190 pounds and a I'm a side sleeper. I've had constant pain in my shoulders and hips, depending on the mattress I sleep on. I bought this to put on a new foam mattress with a built-in gel topper that was supposed to address my pressure point issues but didn't. After sleeping on this for a week, I can report about 95% relief from pressure point pain. Fluffed in the dryer as recommended. Agree the straps could be problematic in some cases, but mine sits on the mattress inside a zippered full mattress cover so it does not move. It has held its loft for about a week, so remains to be seen how often I will need to remove it and fluff it up. I was skeptical this would help my pain, but it sure did. Like any pillow/very soft top mattress, you sleep in the bed versus on it, so it does take more effort to move around on the bed. I don't feel any difference in my sleep temperature. One of my cats found it irresistible for napping, so if it hadn't worked for me, I would have kept it for their bed. ... show more

I recently got a new platform bed and it made my mattress so firm that I was waking each morning with lower back and shoulder pain. After plenty of researching, I found this mattress topper with great reviews. I'm so glad I gave it a try. It has made my mattress soft and comfortable again. I did follow the instructions and let it 'air out' for 36+ hours prior to putting it on my bed. I will also take it off and fluff it in the dryer every month or so as directed. I was skeptical at first , but this was sooo comfy. I bought this for our guest bedroom and ended up using it for awhile. It does wear down after some months of use , but i would repurchase. They need in Cal King. Oh the little straps do come off sometimes but its not a big deal.

I can say I have slept on sum 5⭐️ Hotels and have dreamt of getting a mattress like that’s., and I did but it still was not the feel I wanted . You see I just love how soft and plumpish it is like a cloud . Well I found it !!!! I sleep like a baby and with my hot flashes I thought I would melt with all that fluff and puff!
